It’s not rocket science… It’s just so easy to avoid a aoe pull silence that can then be followed up by a stun… Galilea as a whole isn’t broken but desecrate surely is.
You gotta be kidding, it is LARGE, there is NO COUNTER TO IT, me and @supersawnick have been playing for a long time, and yes, while not many, there ARE OP characters
Yes, it is easy. It’s incredibly predictable and you merely need to interpret its size and bait it out. I say again, you just need to simply git gud against Gali.
No counter? Every mobile character in the game is a counter to desecrate. Even if she pulls you, it’s incredibly easy to get out. Though to be quite honest, non mobile characters can also get out of it. There’s a super secret, super rare move that only a few people ever use or know of its existence called quick melee. Use that ■■■■ and run away from her.
You might be playing for a long time but your player’s skill have to be average or below if you’re having a hard time against Gali. Specially, when you state her pull has no counter.
I used to complain about her too until I played and mastered her. I learned her strengths and weaknesses and from there she was easy to counter.
I don’t have a hard time, and I know to quick melee, but it is bull she can do what she can, stop trying to protect someone of flawed design and bloated ability
Please don’t deride someone’s skill based off of an opinion, even if you feel strongly about it
I’m basing on gaming experience. I’ve played with a lot of skilled players that have never complained or even considered Gali to be OP. They have complained about Benedict which was a clear case of a “god tier” character on the hands of a good player.
I can relate to those players that consider Gali aoe or her character in general to be too powerful because I was one. One of those higher skilled players recommended me to play and fully master Gali to learn how to counter her. That’s exactly what I did. It made all the difference. I took the same approach towards all the other characters that gave me a hard time to deal with and in return I learnt how to counter them all. I’m just passing the advise to others. It helps.
git gud. She’s not hard to counter even if you think she’s bloated.
It’s not that she’s unkillable but her kit is extremely bloated. How is desecrate easy to avoid? It’s an instant cast and you don’t know when it’s on cd or not.
@raylightning I am a very skilled player especially with orendi and Toby, but I am strongly against how bloated desecrate is.
I have mastered Galilea and played a decent amount of her. That’s why I’m strongly against her kit in the first place, when I play her it just feels insanely strong.
Maybe if it was harder to crit with her lol
Ok, I AM good, you clearly don’t realize what I’m saying, I’m saying she is bloated and that there is now way to counter her desecrate
Poison isn’t cc. It’s a status effect
Yeah but who honestly picks that wound
I can’t take you seriously when you say that you’re good but you still think Gali is too much. Especially since you think there’s no counter to desecrate.
STAY AWAY FROM HER. That’s how you avoid it. As an Orendi and Toby player, you should know that you should never get anywhere near a melee. How is her kit bloated anyways? Because she has multiple CCs? By that logic, Dragon’s and Rath’s kits must also be pretty bloated. Tbh though, Rath’s knockup has more utility than Gali’s desecrate.
Dragon has to use multiple abilities to nail those CCs though Galilea doesn’t. galilea is getting reworked because of how bloated desecrate is, so it’s clear that even the devs know she is a mess.
I do for level 2.
