if you’re browsing the helix upgrade screen in game while waiting to respawn, the menu will close on you when finally do respawn. this is very jarring and it would be nice if the menu simply stayed active as long as you held Dpad-Up.
I think there are a couple other things that happen in game that cause this menu to dismiss as well (teleporting to base i think?).
imo the only two things that should kick you out of this menu are
- taking damage
- the game ending
