BUG: Multiple monitors+AltTab cause loss of mouse bounding

Basically as much as the title says. If you have a multiple monitor setup and you alt-tab from Homeworld 1 Remastered and then return in to the game the mouse is not bound in the window of homeworld. The Cursor will pass right outside of the window over to your other monitor (while maintaining the Homeworld mouse cursor type).

WHY THIS IS BAD:
Once you loose the mouse bounding, any side of the screen where you have a monitor that extends your desktop will become very difficult to use for screen movement. It is possible if you’re VERY careful to get the mouse in the right position, but more often than not you slide over the spot and on to the other monitor. This prevents you from moving your view by using screen nudging in any direction that has an extended desktop.

HOW TO REPRODUCE:

  • Setup 2 monitors with the desktop extended (not mirrored)
  • Run Homeworld 1 Remastered, launch any map
  • Alt-Tab out of Homeworld 1 Remastered
  • Return to Homeworld 1 Remastered
  • Symptoms should appear

Same issue here… please patch. I prefer using mouse instead of up/down/left/right to scroll around the map. Besides, who doesn’t have 2 monitors nowdays?

Bump. I just setup a 2nd monitor for streaming HWR, and this bug is still present.

If you Alt+Tab out of the game, when you return to HWR the mouse boundaries are lost. :frowning: This breaks edge of screen panning.
