I’ve tried a variation of your build to test how well a build with heavier investment in The Huntress tree performs. So far it seems quite efficient and entertaining.
The downside is you have to use a fast Tediore shield and a cryo sniper (I prefer those with a Vladof barrel for higher ROF) instead of the Fridgia. Freeze an enemy with the sniper (from the hip) which works pretty well thanks to the high effect chance of snipers, miss one shot to gain the bonus from Warning Shot and switch with 40% increased weapon swap speed to your shotty to gain the fire rate and crit damage bonus (only useful on Torguemada) for your high DPS guns.
It’s about the same Fire Rate as from boosted QNQ (27% vs 28%), which has -29% Gun Damage but full magazine size, which is a big deal on Torguemada. But QNQ is always on…
The Reload Speed from your spec merely attempts to offset the -Mag Size (which would put Torguemada at 4, right?).
The Accuracy is equal to 45 stacks of Duchess.
I think Warning Shot definitely makes more sense than Only The Best for Torguemada. I’m just still not sold on Large Caliber and Prudent Prudence compared to QNQ.
The majority of Torguemada’s damage is splash, so Critical Damage doesn’t account for much. The spec already has 60%, 260% if frozen. An extra 28% will be a slight boost, but it requires frequent swapping to maintain.
