That’s what I’d probably do tbh, if I planned on using Iron Bear with this build. The rails would be better than the Nukes because they can’t crit so you lose a mad amount of damage not taking advantage of Mind Sweeper.
I’d also maybe take the Explosive Miniguns because they tear up with Mind Sweeper.
Yeah, you’re not wrong. Shreddifier is just too low of a base damage to work with. Being that most of the boosts are percentage based you just can’t increase small numbers enough to make them work very easily.
only reason i havent take it is because i really like my vladof ingenuity points. the shock resistance is noticeable from a survivability perspective and i rely on bear so little at this point.
and yeah, i’m using the fire/shock railgun combo. they’re so strong now. my other preferred hardpoint is cryo mini’s. the AoE cryo damage they give off from MS procs has some good utility.
I have tried the Claivoyance but want the full auto version. Have you tried Shrediffier with CH annointment on mind sweeper ? I dont know why but I’m being 100% truthful when I say I do more damage with it than any other AR in the game.
If you don’t have the gatlin version, Step 1: Get the gatlin version.
There’s probably a hiccup in your gear or your weapons. Like for instance, without the Gatlin version of the Clairvoyance you’re stuck with a pretty annoying gun.
I’m going to make some assumptions based on your experiences. My guess is you don’t have the best bonus stat rolls on your class mod or artifact. And also likely not the best parts on your guns. The thing is, once you get proper weapon parts, and bonus stats the increase in damage will blow the Shreddifier far far away.
Also, you may not be using CH properly with other weapons or something (max stacks all the time, regardless of holding the trigger down).
I don’t know how anyone could use a bipod in TTD either, you’d be killed 5 times before you hit the floor.
Edit: I just realized you’re probably stacking CH through single bullets only (as in, you don’t have any bonus projectiles on your set-up because FitSD isn’t even proccing on a Shreddifier). You’re using the sheer RoF alone to try and get to 200 stacks, meanwhile with multiple bonus projectiles you’ll get there in a fraction of the time and be able to maintain them with grenades (you can use the CMT with FitSD). If you have it, go try a Shreddifier with n2m 125% fire. I bet the Pearl plus that will get you a much quicker ramp up and better average dps. CH is bad without bonus projectiles.
Idk if you or maybe hurdy can help me out RQ I cant find the post explaining the final skill on blue tree. I’m trying to maximize my damage for my insider build cuz it’s actually pretty crazy like it way more than kybs qnd def feel like I generate nades and ammo way way more with it. Anyway think is aw something like it can only trigger maybe once per shot and not on each pellet but I swear I see the explosion deal differebt damage at different times like its atleast pricing from multiple bullets at times or something idk.
I do have points in FITSD and I use CMT grenades with 25% annoint, a pearle and ofcourse have Guardian rank combo perk.
I have not tried TTD yet but easily finish normal takedown now using Shredifier along with the usual other weapons for that.
I also do have a x2 Shreiffier with CH annointment , problem with that one even with 10% mag regen I have to reload. The normal one I never have to reload.
My MS com is decent …splash damage, Jacob’s critical hit bonuses and has a point in Redistribution.

Wait – only unlisted projectiles? A 10 pellet shotgun doesn’t stack 10 times per hit?
Actually wouldn’t SF normally be bad but in a shotgun like insider could still be pretty good due to it’s very high base damage. And it being x10 it could move the chain along faster

Here’s the relevant part:
So what’s going on, even with the insider, is you will only proc SF on one single pellet, which alone is low damage. The insider will get its damage from combining all the pellets into a single hit. When you have say a 10 pellet shotgun and take a single pellet you only get 1/10 of the gun damage to proc SF with. Making it nearly useless. The more pellets the worse it is.
A shotgun like the Trevonator fires 3 vollies of pellets so each one can proc SF on their own, increasing the use for the skill on that sort of gun.
Have you tested this build with dakka bear? As I understand it, dakka takes on the properties of the equipped gun so say you have a good juju equipped, hop into dakka and then crit faster and get more grenade drops?
More specifically a limited number of properties. Crit bonuses (on card only I think?) and some elemental effects like the lucky 7 shock.
I’m not sure if it juju stacks would work; It might not get the bonus at all, it might get only the crit without stacks, it might get the stack but not further it, or it might be able to get the stack and continue stacking.
But anyway, if it worked really well with the juju I imagine there’s some skills and gear that should be swapped out of this build to make a dakka build.
The insider would still be better than the trev since the insider base damage even with a x10 is still pretty high and higher than something like the kybs. So I guess it’s not bad it truly depends in the base damage if the pellet
