It wasn’t bad. Felt weird though. There were just a handful of times where the first crit didn’t seem to hit as hard. And losing the movement speed from Fast and Furryous was tough. Overall though it didn’t deal much less damage than normal, so it’s a solid pick now I’d say.

I had a lot of success with a R4KK P4K, had a crazy +3/2 Pack Tactics/Grim Harvest one in storage.

Yeah, the version of the build in the OP was tested for Slaughter Shaft, since it’s pretty much the toughest mobbing in the game outside of raids. It gives the most damage, but there are alternate set ups focusing more on Rakk if you don’t need all the damage. I don’t have a good Rakk Pakk, but I wanted to try and see how it fared.

It’s pretty solid IMO, I don’t have a great Deadeye to compare it to. But it felt as good if not better than Cosmic Stalker/Bounty Hunter.

@boombumr Let me just congratulate you again on the name of this build. The name is on par with Twisted Pimp, Deputy Sal, et al.

Thanks lol. I always loved the sound of twisted pimp.
I tried the gamma burst red fang version of this build as suggested. I must say it hits the sweet spot for me, it is much easier to group enemies and one shot consistantly(well that maybe because I ve never been a fan of rakk attack)
Traunt m10 is not happy about it, the adds clustered around and after launching ac he exploded
‘only’ 435 M but much more user friendly to me at least

@olivier_shady Not co-opting @boombumr’s commentary on his own build thread, but the best things that I have taken away from @boombumr’s Killer Queen build are the solid build and gameplay principles for getting the best use of the pet after the most recent patch.
The principles of spec’ing Fl4k’s skill tree to maximize the benefit of the pet AND Fl4k is what I learned from trying out and using @boombumr’s build. This is really the best thing you can ask from anyone’s build - to be able to make it your own however you can. IMO, the best and most interesting builds take one really cool concept or mechanic and crank it up to 11. Which is what this Killer Queen build does. Now that I know how this build works, I can take the principles over to my own build and use GFTE, Hollow Point, and attack commands in the way that best fits my own build and playstyle.
This is why @boombumr’s build is so cool - because you really can use these concepts with ANY Fl4k build, and still get the benefit of the interaction.
Sorry for the long diatribe LOL

It’s cool that people are making this build their own.
Admittedly, I’m a damage whore with pets. The way a lot of people are about meta gear is how I am with pets. I get REALLY down on Gamma because, knowing how it works with a lot of the other skills, I feel like it saps the potential out of a lot of pet builds. Still, when the only difference is between hitting 1bil and 500mil, I can’t really say Gamma is non-viable. So good on ya for making it work!

You sacrifice a lot of Attack Command damage with Gamma Burst, like 15-70M a lot lmao
I said it the other day, if Not My Circus was more responsive I really think Fade Away would be a great fit for Killer Queen. You get much better annointment cycling than Gamma, and a taunt to get them grouped up around her. But most of the time your Splash 200 is winding down by the time she burrows after she gets around to the taunt.
Edit: @boombumr, Hollowpoint procs can easily go over the VDC. I seen one the other day in the 6B range, Countess got healed for 62M from 1 point in WRW with only one enemy caught in the blast. If this is 1% of the damage dealt, that’s around 6.1B damage.

I’ve been tempted to try with Fade Away, but looping it quickly enough AND having the splash anoint active…nah, I’m good
.
And yeah, I’ve seen a bunch of AC go over VDC, I just never saw the exact amount she healed for. 6bil is news to me though. This build just keeps getting better and better!

What I find really different with Fl4k compared to others VH is that you can use several builds at the same time just by switching coms and AS without any real need to modify your tree. So I can use the original boombumr Rakk version and switch to a gamma version and vice versa very easily.

Just FYI, you can take out Wotan phases if enemies spawn close enough. The pets also have enough health to survive inside Wotan’s shield, at least long enough for He Bites to eat through a fair amount of shield.

Weird note about Wotan, his lower half seems to ignore Red Fang taunt. His mortars are still non stop right at my teeth with Gamma active. Maybe he can target multiple enemies simultaneously?

Wotan definitely does seem to ignore Red Fang with certain attacks. Seems to work similar to other enemies that will track you even when you use FA.

Last night a friend got on BL3 for the first time since May. He was flabbergasted that I was running a pet build and blowing up groups of mobs.

I have found the Red Fang taunt to be fairly inconsistent with Wotan. If I break line of sight and cast Gamma Burst somewhere that Wotan (or either half) can target the pet first, the taunt seems to work most of the time. But if I am already being targeted when I cast GB, the taunt does not seem to work against Wotan.

Just tried this build as I just had enough gear to have some variety, and it is pretty damn fun to have the countess explode things. The DLC3 guns (Beacon, Flipper, Complex Root) are extremely good on this build due to all the splash damage. Though the Complex Root becomes extremely dangerous to use with AOE bonus on the artifact.
Also I’d need to try again but it looks like Countess can 1-shot Wotan’s bottom half when they split.

Follow up on R4KK P4K with Killer Queen. After further gameplay i am beginning to wonder about it’s synergy inside this build. All of the extra procs to Falconer’s Feast is amazeballs for survivability. However, with all splash/AoE bonuses the Rakk seem to murder all trash mobs leaving few choices for prey for the Hollowpoint proc.
Edit: I have been seeing instances where Rakk killed an enemy that had an attack command in the process doing some wild ■■■■. I am not certain enough to even try to unfold what is happening lmao

If Rakk Pakk handles survival, try a Black Holes as the shield with a Piss Grenade. It’s risky to bring enemies so close to you, but if you can survive it makes it a bit easier to group them since you know they’ll be coming towards you regardless
