[Build] Nuclear Bloodletter Moze

I spent my first 6 points in Demo just for the “no ammo consumed every 4th shot” and then ammo regen in a Crit. Helps a lot since ammo is an issue early game. No biggy either way though.

Who needs to summon beasts when you can play Moze and play AS a beast.

The more I play with Quasar the less I like it. too much ragdolling for my taste, it ends up making shots hard to land and throws enemies out of range for its own final explosion. I’m definitely sticking to HEX

Dumb question. Should The Torgue shotty be in impact or sticky mode?

Sticky mode for the shotties that have it

Would be better shield for damage the re-router?, i think that’s the new bee in this game (drains 50% shield for 120% amp damage)

Didn’t put it in the writup yet (I swear I’ll update soon just been busy with life crap) but the shield is not as good as you think it is. The heal it gives is negligible to the amount of shield it drains meaning you are constantly at around 55% hp. Since Health gating doesn’t work on shields this will actually put you in a range where given worst case scenarios you can be oneshot. The 120% amp damage sounds great on paper and would probably be better with non splash damage builds but IMO it seems bugged with the Flakker and Devastator in that I barely noticed the damage increase.

TBH for leveling i think bottomless mags is great. Finding a good vladof AR isn’t hard, plus you can use torgue stickies to help with harder enemies. Once you clear normal mode and can begin farming the needed gear you can respec into this. But without the class mod life is rough.

since we literally have endless shield, there’s no point in making it even “more endless” with this shield mod and relic

for shield re-router is the best option since it instantly refills and you get every shot amplified by 120%

for relic either go with “Grave” (additional weapon and splash damage when on low hp, which is always) OR, and this is by far the strongest version of this build, “Elemental projector” (increase your elemental damage by 186% if you are suffering from it). So for example your radiated hex will do insane damage if you radiate yourself. This is a little bit more risky gameplay but rewards are well worth it.

Decent guide for people who havnt played the game tho.

Edit: Also, for iron bear always use vanquisher rocket pods with Target Softening for extra 15% damage from all sources on every enemy hit

For the life of me, I have been farming graveward for 2 days on normal mayhem 3, and I can’t get my hands on a bloodletter COM. Is it still dropping from this boss ? Maybe I should just get on with THVM, as loot chances appear higher there.

I was thinking Red Suit Shield for a build along these lines since it nulls radiation. WIth radiation mirvs I think you’d be putting out quite a bit of splash damage.

Did you farm offline? coms only drop online for some weird reason…

there’s no point in making it even “more endless” with this shield mod and relic

While I agree with this statement you need to hit the 1 HP for the maximum usage of Desperate Measures as it’s the strongest damage buff that you have. This means you have to pick the relic or the frontloader in conjunction with TRL. Desperate Measures vastly outscales the Grave buffs.

While we are constantly healing our shield the re-router puts additional strain by constantly half healthing us. Since the regen is not instant either the 120% damage procs more like ever few shots and the heal the shield gives you felt negligible to me. Plus the amp damage has fairly bad synergy with the Flakkers splash damage as I said in a previous reply. Like in BL2 the amp damage would be split per pellet and split even further due to splash damage.

You are correct in that it is a DPS increase but it is not 120% with the current loadout and IMO not necessarily worth it. I do like the idea of taking the frontloader and swapping relics but I haven’t gotten a decent Grave to drop. Also Element Projector sounds insane but annoying to proc.

Oof, I can’t decide. What do you guys think?

Torgue

You get to 1 hp with right talent distribution on the class mod

Anway i uploaded a video of how this thing plays if anyone want to watch, although this time i was using anointed front loader. Also flakker really falls behind in fights with a lot of mobs, but is still king for single target fights, so i used Jericho for the most part, which also allows me to radiate myself more reliably

While I can certainly appreciate the more risk-reward glass cannon of your changes, it doesn’t fit to criticize the original when one of its calling cards is tankiness as well.

The build isn’t just for ‘people who haven’t played the game’, and the backhanded nature of that comment isn’t needed.

I definitely appreciate the gameplay video. Would you mind if I add it to the build post itself, and credit you for it?

With only 5 points on the class mod TRL is the worst skill IMO that we can get compared to Phalanx Doctrine and Desperate Measures so losing potential points in those skills to free up the relic and shield slot may not be worth it.

I definitely think you are on to something with ditching the relic for more DPS using either an Elemental Projector like in the video or a Grave relic for allowing to be safer. I’ll add this in as an option in my next update for maximizing DPS.

TBH this criticism on what the minimum amount of survivability we need to still remain “unkillable” while simultaneously increasing our damage is exactly why I made this post. So that as a community we can a) share one of if not the best Moze build to people who aren’t sure of how she plays late game and b) to discuss options and fine tune it further.

While I agree that the comment was a little back handed I do appreciate @rakuda314 's discussion as it brings in more options and can help to fine tune this. Do we really need a 40k shield? Maybe ditching the relic or the shield slot to increase dps is the way to go (personally I agree with him that maybe we can get away with losing one of them but I think both is too far).

I do agree for my own tastes in ditching the double down on the shielding. Grave adds no complexity to the build and still grants a noticeable buff. I’m currently wearing a Re-Router but I don’t like it much. It seems to work well with specific weapons like Jericho and Breeder, but even then as far as cutting down time to kill goes it doesn’t seem to be a huge factor. I don’t know why that is, given the numbers it should be nice but I notice very little. And I thought the point of the shield drain damage being a % now was so that it could apply unanimously to the gun, though admittedly I don’t keep up with news for the game. I was late to realize the loot hotfix had come :frowning:

I was definitely online, as I dropped a metric ton of the other mods (all classes).

I’ve killed him a hundred more times today (it only takes me 3 minutes per run), still no luck. I’m starting to believe the recent patch made this mod unlootable from Graveward.
