as a massive noob, sometimes, i wish that you could, like, reroll unique guns. like, if my grog is wrong, i dont have to do anything, i can spend something to get it rerolled. i might consider trying to be good with a completely diff class, cause gunzerker really just looks hard
There are no wrong Grogs. Some are more optimal than others, but just about any combination of parts will be fine. What you want out of the Grog is the healing, slag and Crit bonus, and they are almost unaffected by parts.
As for Salvador being hard, most people who play him with a premade build say he is “easy mode” so don’t worry

Can I just check, i’ve farmed a Derp Duuurp!, OP8 with the parts you recommend except the sight is Torgue. Is my magazine size supposed to be 12 with this build? Just it’s only 7 (instead of the carded 6)? Just wanted to make sure i’ve not misunderstood something.
Are you forgetting the True Neutral Monk class mod? That’s what increases mag size to optimize Money Shot damage.

Indeed, I didn’t notice the second part of the gear. Irritating, I just ditched my TNM COM because I got a CEM…

I can help if you need the True Neutral Monk.
I also chose to use the Torgue Allegiance Relic for increased mag size by 85%. gives more damage than the 39% explosive relic. Not that you need it. It’s already OP. lol

It shouldn’t, if you have True Neutral. 12 mag is the maximum for Money Shot. Even without ideal Grip/Exhaust, going from say 10 to 12 thanks to Allegiance will not give as much damage as 39% Explosive.
(1 + .88 * 10) * 1.39 = 13.622
1 + .88 * 12 = 11.56

I typically don’t use that COM, it is unnecessary, imo.
With the relic of increased mag size I really don’t need it. At the dummy range, I tested my setup and the 85% mag size increase relic did more damage than the 39% buff to explosive relic. I was unsure which to use and needed to free up back pack space. so I tested which was better and put the “lesser” relic in the bank.
I didn’t test my setup with the True Neutral Monk COM. I don’t feel the need to in all honesty. It’s a broken combination to begin with. and already hitting the damage cap with out it.
I also tested which Pimp to use in my setup as I have a perfect Gentlemens and a perfect Barking slag pimps. they both were on par with the explosive damage, that didn’t change. what changed was the slag damage done off the initial pellet shot(before the split). Both pimps hit damage cap in my testing. so it was a toss up. on paper, I couldn’t tell you. but in the field, they are on par with one another.
I guess it would help to say my RL used in testing was my Derp Ahab with a mag size of only 3(BAR is off). lol

What Sljm means is that, if you have to chose between EITHER a big mag size OR the explosive relic in your relic slot, your results may varry, but you can get BOTH benefits by using the right COM.
You can get mag size from 2 sources, but explosive damage from only one of them, so to get the most out of that combo, you should get a True neutral monk and an explosive relic. And if you have a TN monk already, the Torgue relic does NOTHING at all
In any case, if you’re not tackling raid bosses, you don’t really have to maximize this combo like you said

What level are you at right now? Are you just starting a Salvador, or do you have one part-way through levelling that you want to use this build on?
The key skills in this build are Money Shot, Last Longer, Yippie Ki Yay, Keept it Piping Hot, and Get Some. You may want to put some points in I’m Ready Already until you unlock those last two, then switch them over.
I’d avoid completely filling out one tree before starting another though - you want a mix of both as you level up.

Get Get some as soon as you can, then move to get down not out and money shot.

I noticed this updated version doesn’t have The Bee for the Boss Blaster build. I suppose you decided it’s better to have a little extra survivability rather than bonus damage on the first few shots, since taking damage is pretty much inevitable.
I decided to reinstall Borderlands 2 and fire it up again since I never actually got to play UVHM yet, so I’m very happy that I managed to find this guide of yours again.

The boss blaster doesn’t need the bee at all, and the extra protection a proper shield grants might save your ass for long enough to kill whatever you’re shooting at.

Also (going off of ~2 year old memory here) but at the very least ‘I’m Out of Bubblegum’ and ‘Inconcievable’ alone add a much much larger DPS increase than the Bee. As since rocket launchers have such a high base damage, the Bee doesn’t add all that much relatively.
Incite too since if it’s proc’d, your Bee is down 99.9% of the time.
