How does one switch teams in Private Match and is it possible to 1v1 in private match on split screen??

When matched in a private you’ll see a prompt on the bottom right corner of the screen that reads, “Change local team” I believe it’s triangle on PS4.
Yes you can 1v1 - though I don’t see why you’d want to other than to run damage tests - by removing all bots from the game.
