Campaign tier list?

Only with his ult.

Yes I meant using the ultimate. The lvl 10 helix only augments his ultimate anyway.

…Understandable and I’m not going to defend Atti on Helio for that last part but…
I found a way for Atti to handle that blade spin and it works pretty good.

  1. Lure Rendain to the top of the Verelsi area, stay there by that one column, just to the left of it.
  2. Get in his face, barrage of skills, and when his blades knock you up point your pounce down and land a hit.
Over and over, and over again.

It’s kinda fun and doesn’t take long.

…Let me ask Pendles

Makes me wonder why the question isn’t, ā€œWho is generally DETRIMENTAL in PvE, and why?ā€

Because we, for the most part, could take a hero’s potential to the near limits in PvE and excel. Of course, some are more lethal than others.

But I’m sure there were those instances where when a certain character is selected, the chances of failure drastically increased.

In Saboteur Patch 1.0.3 with only 2 turrets, if there is a Deande without ISIC or Kleese, the game is pretty much over unless the Deande knows how to duplicate clones. Deande was too slow in attack speed, resulting in low DPS, which was something the team couldn’t afford when the RNG spawning gives multiple Disruptors, Defilers, Brutes, and other major Varelsi Deande couldn’t kill fast enough.

I only knew 2 devious guys who could pull off excelling with Deande at Patch 1.0.3. I wasn’t one of them because I’m an idiot.

Nowadays, it’s Pendles. It’s not really that Pendles is bad, it’s more like how people end up playing him. They dash towards the end of the map, taking all shards, spawning all enemies, and then they rush at the team to kill obliterate the visible people with overwhelming numbers.

There are a few others, but I’ll leave my post short for now.

Basically it’s just ā€œthere is no role of an assassin/harasser in PVE because there is no one to assassinate/harass; you just have to kill everything and do it fast and right nowā€.

Ambra is amazing. I find I’m topping the charts with Caldarius and never dying, especially on defense missions. With three pieces of regen gear (white, Vyn’s Quiver, etc) he doesn’t drop. And I can ult to go in, save someone’s life, and Dash back out

This, Caldarius is awesome on most missions

On Saboteur Advanced, I never died. I was always at full health. I hadn’t had such a good run even with Thorn. Then I realized every run was like that.

I’m not even guessing on a tier list, just giving my experiences.

  • Miko is surprisingly great in PvE, even solo. Very survivable as long as you keep an eye on your HP gauge and Biosynthesis cooldown timer. Also specs into DPS quite competently. Invaluable on teams.

  • ISIC destroys in PvE. I mean wreckage. It’s not pretty. He’s tough, mobile, survivable, and strong. The only thing he can’t do is heal himself, but you can make up for that with gear.

  • As qualified by @Kitru and others, Thorn is very solid in PvE if you have the patience and practice with her unique primary weapon. Her abilities are all grossly useful, so if you can land primary shots while waiting on them to cool down, you’ll do well. Her superjump also allows her to sneer at trap puzzles in the Sentinel mission.

  • Caldarius is plenty solid in PvE if he brings regen gear or there’s a competent healer on the team. He’s mobile enough to contribute anywhere he needs to be, has solid DPS and some burst potential with his Ult, and has enough HP to take a couple of hits.

Well well, Big thanks to everyone leaving their opinion so far! some good stuff here.
Now that i have had a couple extra weeks to play around, i have a couple opinions on some characters.

My favorite and most used character 1st

  • ALANI - 40+ games - I love her, I can heal everyone or myself (hard to die solo) She has great damage output, Only twice have i been topped on damage dealt both times by Ambra.
Riptide not only pushes enemies away that are charging, It heals, grants increased movement ,osmosis and can either slow enemies or do some good damage over time(can be extended an additional 3 secs)
Geyser i rarely find my self using besides on bosses or a panic to get away
Emergence is meh, it feels like it barely does anything to big enemies ok for crowds of smaller enemies.
Tier from S - C = A+ she has it all, range, damage, healing. Her ultimate and Geyser let her down from being S

  • ORENDI - 30+ games - CHAOS MAGIC! thats how to define Orendi.
She has nullify which gets you away from anything smacking your face and can re gen your shields - WARNING: be careful where you are i dont know how many times i have nullified off the map to my death. Her ultimate does pretty high damage and can hit multiple targets.
Finally we have her best ability - Shadowfire Pillar, this is Orendis go to skill for damage, can have 2 of them, and spec your skills to basically have it always active so much fun to use and destroys everything.
Her primary attack has a drop off for some reason unlike Alani it has a range where it just vanishes
Tier from S - C = A- She has a low health pool and her primary lacks range altho nullify is normally available to re gen your shield

Will do Thorn and Galilea later after i play with them more today Doing all them ladies first!

I expect Ernest will assert himself as a top-level PvE performer.

His big weakness in PvP is quick assassin types. Not many of those in PvE.

His grenade launcher works much better against slow/stationary targets. Plenty of those in PvE.

As noted, the top PvE performers tend to be those who deal consistent damage, rather than bursting with skills. The Attack Mode on the Egg with crazy attack speed buffs ramps up the consistent DPS of pretty much ALL characters. Montana turns from a bullet hose to a bullet deluge.

Mine Grid seems like it will be boss in holding defense points against melees, like in Renegade and Saboteur.

I have only given him one PvE spin so far, in Archive. It went well.

YES. Ernest is BEAST in PvE.

I thought so, but was disappointed. The area is quite big, enemy detection range of mines is very small and each mine doesn’t do much damage. I heard there is a helix that pushed mines closer to each other - that might work well. But with its default state I always ask myself - has it actually done anything? Because it doesn’t feel like it.

Well, Ernest is indeed a solid strong hero for PVE, but not a god tier, and there’s already a bunch of strong PVEers, so he’s not someone special. Particularly concidering his weak spot in bosses fights - sometimes his damage is very low compared to other heroes.
