Can we get a way to increase the difficulty?

I don’t know man, but that’s how I feel about them. That’s the way they are “off-putting” to me.

I get it I’m not hating everyone has their preferences, just seems like a weird way to put it :joy:

@joeschmoe2152 It’s the best I could find :joy:. I may be a little traditionalist to the core since I’m still playing the old Borderlands 1 even now.

In terms of seriousness, this game has many serious aspects that may go unnoticed, like the history of the eridians, to name one.

yea, cant believe, eridians developed alternative realities with hearts floating out of dead bodies and people having balloon heads xD

Ahaha right :joy:. My mistake. I was talking about the Nyriad logs.

no, i mean, eridians WERE actually pretty serious
thats why this “mayhem mode” is completely lore breaking

Yeah, that’s a fair point. I never thought about it.
One more motivation to switch off the modifiers.

This was a suggestion I put up awhile ago. It reworks M2.0 so that difficulty is much more driven by “player choice” than the developers. It incorporates bothe the Old Mayhem (m1 to m4) but also the Modifiers from M2.0.

GBX: here are Anointed enemies with special mechanics that are harder to kill.

Players: “nerf Anointed, why they are even here?! They are hard to kill, and they have these stupid purple orbs, teleport all the time, go small, and they make game difficult for me”

GBX: “I thought you wanted hard enemies with special mechanics… F^&% it, here is is your skag with 12500% more health.”
