I cannot go online for borderlands 3 on PC using epic games store. I have tried allowing lasse.exe through my firewall, I have tried port forwarding, my epic games app is up to date, and I tried launching the borderlands 3 executable through my C drive. I have also tried reinstalling the game. I do not know what else to try, I just bought the game a few days ago so this is very irritating that the game still has bugs like this months after its release

Did you create a shift account? You’ll need that for on-line play since the update last month that enabled connection between players on Epic and Steam. You’ll want to have it linked to your Epic ID. You can check whether that’s happened here:

Yeah I created the Shift account and linked my epic games account to it. Still cannot connect to multiplayer in anyway. And when I click “Go Online” it immediately displays Network Error. It is like the game is not even trying to connect to the internet

Who is your internet service provider? And do you have an all-in-one modem/router/wifi unit, or separate boxes?

OK, so less likely to be an issue, but if you can take a look at the admin interface at the security settings and see if they’re interfering with the BL3 match-making system. You should have the same ports open on your computer. If you can’t see anything obvious, you’ll need to file a 2K support ticket (link in pinned post at the top of this category)

I noticed another thing, every time I launch the game, I have to upload my local files to the cloud to continue the game. It seems like the game isnt saving to the cloud at all either.

I just resorted to getting a refund, not worth the time and effort when there are other games like borderlands that actually work.
