I own BL3 through EGS. I haven’t played in a bit (last time was in February) and have been trying everything to get the game to launch.

At first, I was getting a black screen with a message that offered to reset my graphic settings. I accepted that to no avail. I started getting the EGS error LS-0013. I verified the cache as it suggested and was getting the same error. After googling, many people had success with running either/and EGS+BL3 as an administrator. I’ve tried every combo of on/ off but nothing works.

I then tried reinstalling the game, and got the same error. I even uninstalled EGS itself (which uninstalled every game) and reinstalling the program and game. I’ve tried uninstalling the latest DLC to see if that was the issue but no such luck.

BL3 just finished reinstalling again and I still get the crash with graphics error message. Windows 10 is up to date, my graphics driver is up to date. Restarting the PC didn’t help. I’m completely out of ideas.

I thought it might be a config/ DX12 issue, but every time I opened the gameusersettings file, it was blank. I found what I thought was plaintext of the defaults but when I saved the file and tried opening the game, basically every config file disappeared. Now when i follow Documents/my games/Borderlands 3/Saved/Config, there is only Windows, no WindowsNoEditor, and there is only a single file in the Windows folder.

Verifying again did not repopulate any config files, nor did trying to launch the game. I’ve already reinstalled twice in the last day and really don’t want to pull another 90 gig download.

What the heck is going on?

Other games I have installed with EGS seem to launch normally, so I don’t believe it’s a platform issue.

EDIT: I uninstalled and did a clean install of my GPU driver and that appears to have resolved my issue.
