Can't play with friends, vice versa

My boyfriend and I can’t play with eachother. Borderlands series is the only one we have this issue with. His NAT is open, mine is strict. But he can’t connect to mine, and I can’t connect to his. We’ve tried everything known and listed but nothing works. If anyone has any idea etc please share… This is really frustrating. :confused:

We’ve restarted our routers, Xboxes… etc.

Try making both consoles NAT Open. There’s a bunch of network stuff going on besides the actual game play; having one on Strict might be interfering. You can set the game sessions to Invite Only if you’re concerned about others joining.
