I recently reinstalled and the epic games launcher has been cloud syncing for an entire day now for this game specifically. I have no local saves and really dont want to start from scratch, but the launcher isnt syncing my save data

Check the local save games folder permissions, in case it got set to read-only, then restart the launcher. Otherwise, the link to file a support ticket with GBX/2K is in the pinned thread at the top of this section.
