Happy they’re permanent.
Annoyed at level cap increase and lack of new content in event, plus cartel anointments not returned.

The hotfix hasn’t been installed for me yet. Am I missing something? I am eagerly awaiting to get a new Yellowcake!

Looks like the patch hasn’t rolled out yet - not seeing an update available on XB1 atm. Seems like there might have been a delay? Still about 3 hours before the usual “patch/hotfix available” time though.
Been playing that for quite some time. Although I wish I can have my save files transfer from PS4 to Switch I can say I’m having a blast with it. My first VH I want to get to max level is Axton. So much fun from that game I missed a long time ago
I saw a video of the new stuffs going to be added today. It’s good but… okay okay I’m not going to play BL3 just cause of one main reason. Just one…
If there is a way to level up gear cause I not going farm for god rolls again or gimmick gear builds. If dedicated drops are 100% for all then I’ll come back. It’s not fun for me to dead with rng on top of rng on top of rng

Could be the last big patch for this game, and still no news on Xbox crashing issues users have been reporting since launch.
So, no. Cant say I’m too thrilled about today’s patch.

Very annoyed that they nerfed the rad anointment bonus from 150% to 100%. I really hate it when game manufacturers try to force players into certain builds by nerfing key components of other builds instead of allowing the players to play the way they want. So disappointing.
Otherwise, I am OK with the latest patch. Although it seems to me that we lost the ability to preview the Deal of the Day in vending machines. At least I can’t anymore.

I’m done with this game, not farming everything again. I’ll see y’all for wonderlands.

Don’t play anymore but I’m glad the events are permanent now. Hopefully it’s a sign that Gearbox is shifting Borderlands back to keeping players engaged through meaningful replayable content rather than time-limited events. I can only hope Wonderlands will have better balancing though

Honestly, between this and the new card, I’m going to start over from scratch on all 4 characters (which is too bad as I had almost beaten the story).
One of the things that I really liked about the events was also one of the things that I hated. Not just the leveling but the fact that I would get weapons that far exceeded the level of the story. By making the events permanent, once I hit Sanctuary 3, I can pace myself by knocking off a challenge for every two levels and avoid my current scenario of “You are god levels of powerful” with all the missions.
Sure, it means that I will have to start over (Something that I had to do with every Borderlands game following a corrupted hard drive and the move to Xbox 1) but I feel that I will enjoy the game more from the start if I have to put some effort in. I figure that, if I put my current setup for each character in the bank, I have a guarantee against things like the Roaring Bear never appearing again but I can still earn my way back up to such things without being too over powered.
Plus, as Borderlands is a leisurely activity for me, I don’t mind jumping back on in and “making the numbers go up” again.

Level cap increase? Nice. Anointment enhancements? Am down with all of them. Iceburger buff? I won’t say no. Mostly though, NEEDLE GUN IS LIFE (and permanently toggleable seasonal events is some real icing on this cake).
I’ve only played enough to level a character up to 70, and that went fast (been savin’ a max level Moxxi relic with on-card and stat-based XP buffs, a shot of Nanobots from Tannis, and MM10 playtime made that XP bar move fast). I’m just focusing on local mobbing until I get leveled up and start looking for fresh gear… if something rubs me the wrong way, I’ll post.

Pretty happy so far, took less than an hour to get some new gear and level up to 72 running the Maliwan takedown and Trials back to back a couple times with Moze. Fl4k seems a little tankier too, was able to carve through Trials with little pause even with Cartel popping up. Thinking about starting a couple new characters and a few more mules. Call me sadistic, but I enjoy the farming aspect and having to redo it every now and then.
Happy cartels back tho still has the same bugs
Annoyed by random frame rate issues, freezes and crashes.
Confused why Joey was raid boss tank one run then paper the next
Overall so far meh
