had a 5 phoebe team against a 5 benedict team in capture. they dominated us until they realized they had to come down in order to capture points and we won xD with 5 pendles against a 5 differents team. they were low level so we just captured without much killing. best moment when someone doesn’t understand why he can’t capture a point because an invisible pendles is standing there hahah
No no no, 5 OM vs 5 WF is called the Clone Wars.
5 Boldur’s on a capture map can not be stopped.
Once they captured, they just played catch outside our respawn.
I just had my friends all go orendi and we fought a team that had all whiskey foxtrot. 20 arms make the dream work
Was there any screen left?
I saw multiple Orendi yesterday and I could not see a dang thing when they were around.
Oh yeah there was nothing left my screen was filled with pillars and death
we need to make one of those giant rock-paper-scissors charts about which 5-mans beat which other 5-mans.
More like Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock.
5 pendles would not be a good team bc not only will they habe a hard time attacking objectives they also only really can attack enemies who wouldn’t seem them and only 1v1 from full health. He’s more of a finish character than all out assault. Plus clearing minions would be hard too since they’re vulnerable and then need to waste and escape. So they’ll be out of combat longer. He’s also more late game.
I’m a master of pendles btw.
Capture has no minions. I think they’d be pretty terrifying. They could all ambush the points and such. Seems bad.
I guess maybe 5 Alani or maybe 5 boulders or 5 orendi or 5 Ernest.
The best counters would be a balance of tank damage and heal.
It would be better in capture but they stil might have trouble against some of the more whiley characters with high DPS. Their ghost captures might be a lot more noticeable though since they’re invisible for so long
I don’t know. This thread is all about what you THINK would be the worst. Them’s my thoughts.
I know and I was just stating mine. I do agree almost completely with what you said.
I was in a Meltdown match against 4 Galileas and a Pendles. It didn’t end well for us.
Then I was in an Incursion match where our team was 4 Oscar Mikes and a Marquis. It didn’t end well for us (not helped by the fact that Marquis left).
I’ve experienced a handful of full set matches. I was part of a 5 man Kleese team in Incursion and we outscored the other team 220-90 but we lost because we couldn’t protect our second sentry in the last few seconds. I was on a 5 Pendles team in Capture (friends idea – I’d never used Pendles) and we got beat by a 5 Ambra team (it was like they knew we were going to be Pendles). Lastly I played against a 5 Alani team in Incursion. We had 2 Ernest and 3 Ghalt and though we started out slowly we ended up crushing them.
Edit: I forgot that the team that beat my 5 Pendles team as 5 Ambras played us again the very next match – this time with 5 Boldurs in Incursion against our 2 Ernest, 2 Orendi, 1 Ghalt team. They got wrecked. They didn’t get a single kill (had a zero total score) and surrendered after their first sentry fell. 5 Boldurs is not a good team against a team that has any range, any stuns, and/or any ability to attack above/behind his shield.
This is the unfortunate issue with chaos rumble… people want to do zany team comps, but they also dont want to get stomped by ACTUAL team comps, so they play cautious too…
Fought a team of orendis. Our team was two Ernest,OM, and two other uniques I can’t remember on incursion. We destroyed them like crazy. Was a super fun match.
