Character throws green thing that beeps when tossed

I can’t figure out what’s going on and this is very annoying. It started sometime around gathering pizza ingredients for Tina. My character throws this green orb with a gold ring around it and it makes a beeping noise when tossed, it’s automatically picked back up when close enough. This only happens when in combat. xBEARDRAGEx | Xbox

I’ve tried unequipping and equipping different gear and nothing seems to stop it.

This appears to be a shield booster.

It doesn’t do anything and I have no gear that produces it. I have even changed around all my stuff and it still does it. I have some sort of permanent glitch going on

@rcmkiii My suggestion would be a save/quit or a complete game restart. Sounds like a glitch. There are many weird issues with Wonderlands. There is even a glitch with my Chillmonger build where it occasionally just stops being able to damage enemies altogether - that’s a save/quit too.

I’ve save quit multiple times, this issue appeared about 24 hours ago now. I would rather not start a new game to get rid of it but if I have to I will.

I meant a game restart like a dashboard and then reset the game. Sorry, should have been more clear. You should not have to do a complete new character to resolve this kind of thing, I wouldn’t think. But :man_shrugging:t2:

Like I said, the problem started 24 hours ago. The Xbox has been turned off more than once. Whatever it is the glitch seems to be permanent.

Can you show us what shield you have equipped?

Glitch started when I was wearing the back ham and the mimic is what I have equipped.

That’s really peculiar… chances are that your save game got corrupted in a weird way. You’ll probably need to create a new character.

That is weird… maybe if you intentionally equip a booster shield, then unequip it, it’ll force some “turn the boosters off” script? To make sure something changed, throw some element in a puddle, and step in it… boosters should start falling right off. However, these should be actual shield boosters that do fill your shield on pickup. When you unequip it, see if the fake ones return.

Any cheap thing from a vending machine should do it if you don’t have one already.
