Character won't load in matchmaking

Over the past 2 days my Wilhelm character is not able to join games directly. I must join the lobby of the person I want to play and then they must start the game.

I am able to take a second character and join games directly without any loading problems.

I have tried numerous attempts and trying to correct this issue, but making my friend quit his game just to have me join is a big problem.

Has anybody else run into this problem?

No. but I have had problems where my skill points reset when joining someone else’s game - happened many times. Quick question: were you in your game and attempting to join his game while yours was paused, or had you saved/quit and were at the main game menu? That seems to make a difference in terms of connectivity.

Saved/Quit then join through main menu.
