Is anyone else failing to see the logic of nerfing loot from these two sources on mayhem levels?

People were farming m10 mere hours after 2.0 was released. I am not the creme de la creme by any stretch of the imagination lol. But I went straight to m6, farmed a sandhawk, and went straight to m10. Then there’s the issue of most legendaries not even scaling to m10…

So not only did it not prevent people from jumping to m10. It was redundant, because most of the gear doesn’t scale anyway lol.

I’d laugh even harder if I wasn’t annoyed by the thought of actual time and manpower being used to plan for contingencies that weren’t even possible.

I don’t think it was logic, I think they just didn’t plan mayhem 2.0 very well… Lol

The way the game currently stands on 2.0, you really just need a yellowcake, sandhawk, kaoson and opq or monarch if you want to actually do damage. It is sad though because most legendaries that drop now are relegated to the discard pile because they might as well be shooting spit balls haha

What really chaps my hide is the golden key chest doesnt even scale to your current mayhem level. So … golden keys are even useless now.

I don’t even bother to open chests for the most part unless I am in desperate need of ammo and as I tend to run a deathless Flak build most chests contain all that lovely health as the game thinks I need to get above my 1 HP.

I submitted bug reports about it and urge others to do the same. The more bug reports we put in … maybe … maybe … just … well … maybe … they will fix it?

They mentioned that addressing this issue would require a patch, not a hotfix.
