Yes, that’s the best strategy. I either go to Caustic, or try and liven things up by mixing in other legendary / chest sources, usually either in Frostburn Canyon or round Ellie’s.
Tubby rakk are hilarious, desperately trying to stay in the air. I’ve never seen a chubby midget. Hoping for a return of the tubbies in bl3… Tubby Claptraps?
The Halloween DLC 
I run it all the time! Usually with Rough Rider Maya for quickest farm. Just do the spiderant part, I get 1in 4 spawns reliably. Plus at least 2 red chests!
TC probably already found one, but this just popped in my head randomly. Southern Raceway in the Torgue DLC has the guaranteed Chubby Rakk, I think that will count towards the trophy. It doesn’t drop loot like the other tubbies, but it’s always there.
If you just want the trophy go to the Southern raceway in the Badass Crater DLC. Drive down the road and as it starts to curve to the right get out. There is a small tunnel on the left where a tubby Rakk ALWAYS spawns. He never drops anything but it does trigger the trophy.
i mean if you consider the skeletons, yes… tubby bones is the only other that resembles human? then theres varkid,skag,spiderant and rakk and stalker
Conscious nechro here. It took many months since you brought this to my attention, but I finally saw a tubby spawn in the place of an adult varkid, something I was still skeptical about. The legends are true!
Oh thank goodness for that. I never try to mislead. however, given the amount of time thats passed since release. There is always the chance I might ‘mis-remember’. Glad my Vault Hunter memory stood true.
