To bad I can’t get my money back ><
So I joined a friend’s game with the DLC. It still said I didn’t have it downloaded and wouldn’t let us play it. But something else also happened: most of my skill points suddenly became unassigned! My badass points and weapons/heads/skins were unaffected. WTH?! I’m filing a complaint with Microsoft about this faulty DLC and getting a refund. I’d advise others in this situation to do the same. If the support wasn’t so awful I wouldn’t be so pissed, but it is what it is.

I am also having trouble with the DLC on 360. To be clear I re-downloaded both parts in their correct order. When reloading the game it said I needed a more recent version of the game so I cleared my cache and reinstalled the title update. When I get into the game the fast travel station still has Deck 13 1/2 marked with an asterisk and trying to travel to the location it wants me to download the DLC again. Which doesn’t work. Is there a title update that hasn’t been pushed to Live? Anybody actually find a solution to this issue other than “it just started working for me one day”?
I’ve just contacted Microsoft and got a full refund and they also put out a service issue with the dlc I’d recommend for you also to get a refund and buy it again later when there a a fix r spend your money on something that actually works
Well, I think I may have cracked the problem. The glitch is in the compatibility pack (at least it was for me). I deleted all three items (both parts of DLC and compat pack) and downloaded only Part 1 of DLC. Status in the game at this point listed Part 1 as ‘Downloaded’ but not installed. The game was also prompting me to download Part 2 of the DLC and the Compat Pack. I then downloaded Part 2. Now the game listed Part 1 as ‘Installed’ and Part 2 as ‘Not Downloaded.’ At this point I went into the game WITHOUT the Compat Pack (in previous attempts at fixing this, I downloaded the Compat Pack) and Deck 13 was available to travel to. Once I had progressed into the DLC a bit and saved my game, I then downloaded the Compat Pack. Now all is well. The glitch with this DLC lies in the Compat Pack. Hope this helps.
The team has been working on a fix for this that will very likely be included in the next update. In the meantime, along with some of the workarounds here in this thread, the team has found a workaround that may resolve the issue for some users:

- Re-download Part 1 again from the in-game downloadable content menu.
- Install Part 1 when the prompt asked user after the download is completed.
- There should be a prompt in-game that informs you that you have new content, and ask if you would like to install it.[/quote]

I Need help 
I just payed good money for the claptastic Voyage DLC and It keeps telling me i need the latest Patch , now , BEFORE you ask me if i have the compatibility pack downloaded . Yes i do . I Deleted and reinstalled Part 1 of the DLC and part 2 AND the compatibility pack and still cant Fast travel to Deck 13 1/2 This is a serious problem for me as i was really looking forward to playing this DLC . Can somebody help …
Please help i tried everything i even followed the steps you gave still no luck I dont know what to do . I hope It can be fixed i dont want to have to have payed 10 dollars plus tax Only to find out that I cant play what i purchased
I replied to someone else having a similar issue with what I have had success trying down in the second paragraph of this. Also my roomate has the season pass and has played the game daily without issue till this sometime about a week ago he got the message about DLC not being installed etc no matter how many times he trys to reinstall it will not work. I found a fix for this though, he has xbox live but not a gold memebership I have gold so I signed into his console as second player and had him then try to hit start on the title screen and instantly all DLC installed and he could load the game wtthout and problems. I signed out after and it was fine till the xbox gets shut off and then the same thing happens so I have to sign in again.

Also I sometimes get the message saying I dont have part of the claptrap DLC and that I need to download it again so I just hit download and it jumps up to 100% right away the issue is getting it to recognize “new dlc” was downloaded and install it sometimes going back to the title screen after redownloading will install it and sometimes I have to do the whole process 2 or 3 times to make it work. When this happens and it finally installs the DLC again I get that patch error you described and I ignore it and play the game.”
Well Thats good for you … NO everything does not work fine as a matter of fact . Gearbox uses their customers as guinea pigs for their faulty DLC that i payed good money for . IM looking for an ACTUAL FIX or some Real help . Not some random button mashing you tried with your friend that im 100% sure isnt a legitemate way to solve this problem . and No no If you got the patch error i described you wouldnt be able to play the dlc . So clearly there is a difference between my issue and the one you Didnt face because you seem to have no problem playing Claptastic voyage
Usually people are happy when Working DLC is released … Just a thought . . I was looking forward to playing Claptastic voyage as i have seen gameplay and read the reviews . But Now seeing as no Actual gearbox staff is fixing the issue . Im stuck in a hole of which i cannot get out . Ive tried everything .
I want my 12 dollars back gearbox . OR a fix. I know its hard to fix an issue this large but it should never have happened to begin with . If its not fixed then i need my money back .
I have downloaded and re downloaded this dlc literally 12X and it’s still not working, I bought this game the day after it came out…over a month ago…I’m a loyal fan of borderlands but im extremely frustrated and disappointed this dlc still hasn’t got whatever patch is requires. Please update!!

I am having this issue now, but it has also wiped my badass ranks & 60+ SHiFT keys.
I’m stood in Concordia at Lv6 (i’d played it on my pc & neglected my Xbox 360) with save files for both previous titles, so should have a fair few Badass Ranks. I spent the better part of half an hour inputting SHiFT codes for keys to get nearly as many as the Xbox One bonus to have no keys, zero Badass Ranks or bonuses
I did have the same problem but yesterday I had another update after previous 4mb one and now the dlc works fine apart from all my badass points reseting and sometimes using the new wepons like the disk blaster the shots will go completely through bad guys same happens with the babymaker
I am trying to download it now for 4 hours + and it doesn’t even show the fast travel and I can’t try using any of the other vh modes because I am pretty bad at this game

I cannot get part 1 to download as there is no option only Cancel What the hell is going on gearbox and why hasn’t this been fixed already?!?
