Collision with allies and friendly minions

is this working as intended? collision with enemies is definitely needed but with allies? its ridiculous that your own minions or own idiot team mates can completely block you. can someone please tell me collision with your allies is a bug

This is actually excessively annoying in both PVE and PVP for minions and players…

While I’m sure the collision is supposed to occur as it is for a game like this, the collision hitboxes on some of the “large” character are just WAY too gigantic (sometimes they look very shoddily made to me as well, meaning they are TONS bigger than the character’s model), and these characters are a GIGANTIC annoyance to any fast-moving, quick-strike characters, as they are SO MASSIVE they can literally block an entire doorway or hallway ffs…

I also am REALLY not a fan of how “friendly fire” is being handled - someone on your team can walk in front of you shots and TOTALLY absorb them. They REALLY should just “pass through” your allies ffs…

My guess would be ‘No it is not a bug’.

Here is the why. In most FPS games & MOBA games (Which Battleborn is a hybrid of those types), collision detection is on with both friend and foe is standard. In some MOBA’s, if you get/buy a certain item can you be able to pass thru minions during that match.

Collision detection tends to only be turned off in MMORPG’s, and even then to what degree varies from game to game.

it’s annoying, but you get used to it.

It makes sense but damn it annoys me. Those moments when you try to move out of the way of an AoE attack to find your minions have gathered around you for a group hug. A group hugs lovely guys but nows not the time! :frowning:

I have been killed by more of my team’s tanks than saved by them, that at least isn’t intended lol.

Can’t tell you how many times I’d die because I’d be running away because I’m low on health, and get stuck on a Montanta.

Same lol, or any of the gigantic characters.
Hell, even just all the times they won’t GTFO of the way so I can run past their slow, lumbering asses… >_<

This is particularly maddening when I play Thorn who simply put HAS TO KEEP MOVING CONSTANTLY, or she dies… >_<

Caldarius has a helix upgrade called Phasebang. All it does is make his Flashbang go through allies…

That’s the only thing it does.
