Compatible Grenade Mods with Vampyr

Only thing I dont like about singularity effects in general is that enemies tend to get ragdolled into the air instead of just being pulled around the singulairty itself.

Yeah singularity in bl3 does not pull them in like you would expect. It’s more like a stagger then anything. Which is definitely a disappointment.

I think the singularity really depends on the other mechanisms on the grenade. For instance, a rain singularity will almost always throw enemies. I had a grenade that was just impact singularity singularity and it worked a lot better as a singularity. Still had some throwing, but…

I think their bug fix that broke grenades just affected grendes that have ā€œbeamā€ damage. It’s confusing because there is:

  • grenade damage
  • splash damage
  • AOE damage
  • beam damage (?)

so who knows how it all works. But yeah the purple cloning tracker is insane with Moze and a splash damage/blastmaster build

Pretty sure the beam nades are simply not aoe damage and just grenade /ele damage. Even though they have a radius listed, it is just the range at which the nades will Agro

yeah i don’t know man, the issues the ā€œbugfixā€ caused doesn’t really make sense to me. The only 2 granades that i’ve seen still proc means of destruction is epicenter and rain firestorm. purple tracker have never given me granades. do’h i just realised you probably meant the interaction with vampyr. epicenter is mad healing and mad damage, seriously crazy stuff going on there. it’s actually giving me 100% health a lot of the times because all the orbs hit the inital target if he’s big enough, like haunt.

i’ve got a terror annointed epicenter paired with 50% cryo when terrified. with blast master com the damage can on shot badasses in SS. i’m using a ice breaker relic, so epicsenter can instant freeze too occasionally, which make them take 35% more damage on the next granade. hehe

Didn’t even know grenades could spawn with 50% cryo while terrified, I’ve only found damage+fire rate, reduce damage taken, health regen… Maybe ammo regen? Most of the terror anoints seem to be locked off for shields/nades.

sorry, i just realized i wasn’t 100% clear there. i use a weapon with 50% cryo while terrifed. Epicenter with terror over 18 seconds. The weapon adds 50% cryo damage to all your damage, not just the weapon. which means epicenter deals 50% cryo damage ontop of what it already does.

That works with all the bonus damage mods I do believe.

I’ve almost given up on using grenades at this point. Found a nice Roided Ghast Call tho for shredding armor.

Tediore chucking with MIRV/homing parts is a god send for DW Moze. They are consistently proccing MoD and Vampyr for me. I also found myself a couple shock versions that, with my transformer, I am basically immortal as long as I don’t run out of ammo, lol. It seems that the MIRV projectiles from the Tediore reloads are counting as thrown grenade AOE damage. (Yes I did test this with non shock weapons without the Transformer and it still works.)

I almost found perfection. I found a grenade with MIRV, mini-mirv and bouncing. It creates 22 explosions. Only problem is it was explosive not homing.

You have initial throw, then it blows up into three, on impact each one then creates a mini-MIRV of three each so 9 total, and each one jumps again. So 1+3+9+9. If only it was homing.

I think this one does 2 + 2(3) * 3 = 20 explosions. But I could have messed that math up

Homing, MIRV, Mini-MIRV, Jump = 22 explosions.

Best one ive found too; though ive found its between 14 and 18 explosions in actual use… still more than enough for most shields
