Yep. I want to make a quick and easy method to bring these things down, but we must be aware of the following fact: no matter if you’re running Hellborn, Melee, Hybrid B/M or B/H meatman, they are a PITA. Worse if they’re Badass ones.

I had my old Pitchfork method, but the ammo consumption makes a less than viable method. So that one is out.
I’ve been thinking about Pimp, Lady Fist, Fastball. The other one is just Norfleet the ■■■■ out of them.
I need to test the Interfacer/CC/Butcher with them, that probably is a good method, but we have to face the ammo consumption stuff too.

Thoughts?

What did you do in BL2 during your most recent session?
Stuck at OP 3 with Krieg, what am I doing wrong?

My method; Let them construct things, Bloodsplode said things.

Flesh Crunch, Grog/Slagga or whatever method to slag, explosive fastball. Works well for me.

OP 6 and Level 72. I haven’t made it to OP8 yet. Let me run Arid Nexus Badlands on OP6 and give you feedback on it. I know it’s not OP9, but still should be valid.

Yeah that’s what I thought. I personally just spam fastballs in there face than corrosive pimp the rest of the health.

Anything Bloodbath-enhanced will do the trick or setting Bloodsplosions like mentioned above; If you’re out of these two skills, say in a hellborn-mania build, you have stuff like the Conference Call, DPUH, Hail or even a Bekah for dps (although mine never saw much use outside of some sporadic ctors).

ps.: There is also the Bee-Flakker method whenever feeling scrub enough.

Tried a Lady Fist + Pimp combo (both corrossive, dmg prefix). Worked quite nice on the Badlands badass constructors.

Dang, I should have waited for a response. I’ve been following the Hellborn threads closely, just looking for variety. As for the run, I got a pretty unfavorable spawn rate, two Ultimate BA skags {Corrosive and Fire}, and several rabids, three at once. The bots went down with one hit, if slagged. But I know, it’s counter what you’d do if using Hellborn…

Mania makes pretty short work of them. Just make sure you’re not invested into Pain is Power and aim for the crit spots in RtB.

As far as Hellborn alone goes, just spray and cross your fingers. Also strafe. Basic survival maneuvers. Should get you through the fight.

I managed to kill them.
With the Lady Fist, the bonus crit is so high, that the PiP penalty can’t be noticed xD
