First, thanks for the game!
But I have suggestions for the control functions of the game:
-
Holding the Y or Triangle button and change the weapon with Left Stick or D-Pad , like Rockstar Games (GTA or Red Dead Redeption). And the game don’t lose the default configuration of D-Pad, that still works with the Y or Triangle button released.
-
Also, holding the Y or Triangle button and using the Right Stick , the emotes could be more accessible.
We understand the new functions of the game and it’s awesome improvement, but the game must bet in button combinations to cover them all.

You mean more or exactly like in BL1/BL2/TPS?

Like the previous BLs, but with Y/Triangle button pressed
And with this button released maintain the default configuration of BL3 for D-Pad.
All the functions in same configuration, got it?

That’s how it works in previous BL game. If you press and hold triangle it display all four weapons and you can select.

Yes! We need a way to meld the features and classic scheme together.
I am so accustomed to having my weapons mapped to the D-pad. And while I don’t care much for the ping(it’s nice) I do like filtering thru my quests.
An alternative solution would be to allow us to queue up and track multiple quests at the same time.
Anyways it goes, even with being able to remap keybinds, the way it currently is I will always be missing one of the feature. I like your idea, as it allows us to have the best if both worlds. Quality of Life is an important aspect of gaming.

Please, please bring back the "resistant " controls from BL1 and BL2
I’ve found a workaround in the advanced controls by configuring which buttons can be mapped to my Xbox controller but it will be super awesome to not have to do that and have it as an option instead

BL1 and 2 you change weapons holding Y/Triangle or not.
In BL3, the game have gained more functions.
Even the Mark Target which it useful when you playing with Fl4k or Zane. You can guide the pet or STNL.
Button combinations make the game more easily to operate.
But I’ve made my own configuration too:
- D-pad Down is Weapon 1.
- D-pad Down then Y/Triangle once is Weapon 2
- D-pad Down then Y/Triangle twice is Weapon 3
- D-pad Down then Y/Triangle three times is Weapon 4
D-pad Left is Alternative Fire selector.
The others buttons I maintained in default configuration.
I only give up the previous direction of mission selector.

So you have the same action assigned to two different buttons? Thats a waste of a button in my opinion, but if it works for you then ok.
I have my own layout too for my melee Amara build, and it works fine for the rest Vault Hunters, but you need to get used to it.
L1 is sprint (press)
L3 Action Skill
R1 melee attack
R3 grenades
I can also use dpad left/right for something cause there is no need for previous mission if you have next.
I saw that you can set Mode Change to triangle in one of the pre-setup, I guess it’s done by holding. It should help if you want add more action.
Also there should be an option for DS4 touch screen, like swipe right is next mission, swipe left something else.

No, no, no. @GrzesPL
The 1st weapon is my reference to select the other weapons.
By the quantity of times I press Y/Triangle button, I know the weapon i use.
The D-pad down button is Weapon 1, not the Weapon Cycle.
