I’m guessing critical strike is head shots? If so is it pointless to put critical strike damage items on melee characters? ( unless your ridiculously good at aiming )
Critical shots are enermy week spots they can be any place not just heads.
in PvP, I’m 95% sure that it’s only heads (or … ISICs head … thing)
Melee characters can most certainly hit enemy crit spots. As long as you know where they are and the situation isn’t like Boldur trying to melee Montana’s head then you can hit crit spots on most enemies.

A critical strike on miko is a “capshot”, not a headshot though 
I actually had that problem in PvE with boldur. Had to jump to reach the weakpoint of some monsters like the ice golem-like boss ^^".
I didn’t play Boldur much, but the time I ran The Algorithm I didn’t have much trouble with the golems. I was pretty used to fighting them with melee at that point and I tended to look up at larger enemies while close up so I probably just lucked out.
