Cyberpunk 2077 delayed again

Alright, feels like this is getting a bit heated and it’s not what I was shooting for with this topic. I wanted to drive the point that gearbox needs to change the direction and start taking care of what they’re doing, not stir up a fight. Even if you believe everything is good with the game, I don’t suppose you’d argue that paying more attention to quality and having a sense of direction would be a bad thing for the game, would you?

And not every player is going to take the time to complain about the state of the game. I play with two friends and we all experience the same bugs and crashes. But they aren’t going to post on the forums or submit tickets. They pretty much rely on me to do that.

It takes effort to provide feedback on issues. Customer Support often asks for videos or screenshots, which take time to produce and trim to upload or share via a third party. These aren’t 1-button solutions.

It’s great that the game is running so well for you. But it’s not running perfect for the majority of players. Most just put up with the issues or perhaps play solo where the issues aren’t as severe. Also, for those players who don’t even come to the forums, they may not know about drop rates, broken skills, broken items, etc.

Even if there are different teams, pushing out new content that exacerbates the existing issues is a very short-sighted plan. Every new patch had created more issues for me and others. Taking the time to do it correctly the first time would actually speed up development of new content. But regardless of what the paying customers want, it’s all about the money and shareholders and hitting budgets and goals. It’s not about service or quality.

Simply blaming this on 2k misses the point. Yes they are part of the problem, but it is Pitchford’s job to manage upward.

Crazy talk I tell you…Making sure the game works properly before releasing it, wacky I say! I love it that I paid for the Super Deluxe Sucker Beta Tester Edition, with crashing console modifiers and split screen nerfs.

Cd Project Red’s game never crashed my console…slackers!
