Honestly I don’t like the idea much, while I did very much enjoy Chaos, but…
We have some Competitive scrims where you can’t use legendaries.
That works well and it does make people use more thought in what gear they collect and equip.
That was already, just called differently - CTT (closed technical test). Just there were no legenderies then, but you still had spellcasters with like 1 second cooldown, unkillable tanks, etc. Not my definition of fun.
That would be really cool but for two things -
A: the amount of load outs you can have are already so limited
B: Think of how many blacked out load outs you would have when the event ended
Although, two things I have always wanted in the Battleborn character / skin / Loadout selection screen is the ability to go back and choose a different character after you have made your initial selection (but before you leave the character selection countdown screen) and the ability to select / edit gear load outs on the fly.
Like, create a whole new Loadout from all your gear while on that screen if you have the time.

While it would take a bit to unlock you would essentially be able to spam pillars and probably blow your ult every 20 seconds! And I’m sure the ~30% increase in sprint speed might help keep you alive assuming anyone could get close to you.
You know what would have made for a fun “Chaos Rumble”?
You join the game and it picks two traits from a list at random for the match. Something like:
- unique characters off
- unique gear off
- start with 6000 shards
- +14 health regen to all players
- +20% damage to all players
- +25% movement speed to all players
- double in-game XP (ie faster leveling)
- all players start at level 5
- reduce all buildable costs by 50%
- full heal on player kill
- reduce respawn time by 50%
- winning team receives triple credits
- double buildable health
- double buildable damage
- double minion health
- double minion damage
Plus whatever the creative minds can come up with that aren’t too bat$^t silly. Imagine the combinations and the type of games that could be played. I’d have to make time to try something like this.

All attack speed on Gali, with her energy blasts, would be hilarious. The average attack speed is 8.40? Times that by 3 would be 25.02, plus her mutation of have attack speed if fully corrupted. PLUS if Ernest is on her team.

Oh gosh. Wait you can’t get multiple lore legendaries. If you could though, 4 extremely weak damage stuns would be awesome. And Benedict with 3 second cooldowns
LMAO- yes! I had the best time. I played against 5 thorns too. We got absolutely destroyed. I managed to talk all players into a full on Boldur smash fest. 10 boldurs all smashing eachother. Went up against 5 Montana’s. I had some of the best PVP times in that mode.
Your comments are exactly what might be wrong in this game. You can absolutely have fun in PVP getting destroyed. Playing games should be about having a good time. As long as nobody drops from my game I’m a pretty happy camper. Sure, I get very annoyed with how shity people are playing at times. I played yesterday and had 5 games right in a row where our group got owned. Then I had 4 in a row with a good team where we won.
