I think it’s awesome that your streaming! Live your life to the fullest. I believe Battleborn and Overwatch are the same price however.
Battleborn is $75 with Season Pass and Overwatch is $40 for the game with no gimmicks in other Blizzard titles. It’s also gained a lot more attention than Battleborn it seems but we may be wrong
I have looked a little bit into overwatch, and since I can’t afford to get battleborn right away I may try the beta, but the characters in battleborn seem so much better than what overwatch has to offer I am fairly sure there is no chance I am going to change my mind. I went into battleborn thinking that I was not going to like it at all, but I fell head over heels and I am absolutely dying to play again but I am going to have to wait a couple of weeks. Maybe overwatch beta will change my mind but I am sinceriously doubting it at this point.
I pre-ordered both so I can play both at the same time… but I don’t think I’ll be playing Overwatch during the beta… might give out my beta key on the stream if a Steam friend doesn’t claim it already
I know I will enjoy both but I feel like Battleborn has more lasting gameplay from what I have seen of Overwatch. I’ll Overwatch when it releases, not during this sneaky attempt to strip fans from Battleborn with this open beta :3
overwatch honestly looks like complete crap compared to battleborn, but since i cant afford to get batleborn right away then maybe i will give it a try
Well I’m still trying to figure out how I want to stream… I play in Ultrawide HD settings on games but that isn’t normal for people. I am experimenting with xSplit but that plays in 1080p max… since im playing in Ultrawide resolution it makes the viewing smaller and slightly fuzzy… might have to bite the bullet for a bit and stream in 1080p settings ingame
I love my Ultrawide tho… everyone needs one.
I’m gonna stream on my XB1
Easy as pie that way

Exact same price. I also feel that Overwatch would probably gain more attention given the fact it’s a Blizzard game and they have pushed the games advertisement and their brand name much more than Gearbox has with Battleborn. I am not claiming one game is better than the other because I haven’t played Overwatch and therefore can’t judge properly. I can say that since Battleborn has single player capabilities and Overwatch does not seem to I am partial to Battleborn.
Your looking at the Origins Edition. Origins Edition is nothing more than some unique skins ingame and cosmetics for other Blizzard Titles. If you get just Overwatch ($40), it has the game and nothing foofoo.
That’s just for PC. Console players are only able to purchase the origins edition, not the standard(40$).
LOL
So the budget gaming systems have to pay more? Cute
To answer the question, I know Kalology (twitch) will be doing a 24-hr stream on day one. I’m pretty sure Admiral Bahroo (fairly big youtuber) will be doing a day one stream as well.
“budget gaming systems”? I did not realize Overwatch was $20 cheaper for PC and that was my mistake and for that I apologize, but why rag on console gamers? Just because I enjoy my PS4 and don’t want to spend $1.5g on a top-of-the-line gaming PC means you have the right to insult me? Also, I do think it’s important to note that Battleborn is a larger game with single player capabilities and a full on story mode so paying an “extra” $20 is a pretty damn good deal.
I am a PC Elitist
it’s ok I’m sure you see it all over FB and Reddit… don’t take it to heart lol.
I think you are missing the point of me bringing that up, I see all over Facebook people talking about the game and saying they won’t get Battleborn because of the larger price tag that comes with it and not understanding that the games are not at all the same.
for consoles overwatch is 60 just like battleborn its only cheaper on pc so its prob gonna hurt sales for overwatch
I will stream the PS4 version from day 1. I cannot wait to share my experiences with everyone
Kinda unfair to compare prices when you include the price of the season pass on BB, specially when the season pass just adds single player/campaign content and Overwatch doesnt even have a campaign mode to begin with.
Comparing base prices is a lot more sensible and in the end i think BB is the cheaper of the two taking into account the content on both.
I stream from time to time so my friends can check out games they don’t have yet. Usually don’t have many viewers at all. However, I also plan on keeping a stream up during launch week to try and promote the game in any little way I can.
But people still make this an excuse to not get it
I think Gothalion will also be streaming Battleborn on release, he is also interested in the game.
Maybe MorningAfterKill too ? I think he likes the game, but don’t know if he streams and if he will get the game on day 1…
