[DDD] Gaige's skills for you!

OK, might actually be able to do that tonight. Will report back if I can!

Data, as per @Chuck80, aiming for centre mass (although that shouldn’t make any difference?)

Edit: damage from initial nova and subsequent ticks. I managed to catch most of them, but I missed one or two along the way.

That about right?

We know the initial damage was increased, that was the case before the patch, it’s the DoT that was supposed to be increased but wasn’t.

Though from the numbers We see, it seems to work now

Is it known how the DoT is actually calculated? There’s obviously a RNG component to it to create the “flicker” effect on the electrocute numbers, but what is it based off? A fixed percentage of the initial shock damage causing the DoT with some random multiplier?

The final number in the data above (where I was able to capture it) looks like a fixed percentage of the initial shock nova and, iirc, there is a weaker secondary nova at the end of the timer on this particular effect.

So it is now safe to say that the WDT Electrocute damage per level is no longer bugged? Just wanted to verify, so I can make the change to the OP accordingly.

Based upon a change to Gaige’s WDT skill and input from several people in this thread, the following change has been made to the OP:

  1. The Note under Wires Don’t Talk (WDT) has been removed, since the Electrocute Damage associated with WDT is no longer bugged. The original (and now redacted) Note read as follows:

*NOTE only Electrocute damage per level is bugged. Not Shock damage.

Why for you bump? This is already listed in the community resource thread. :stuck_out_tongue:

Forgot about that. Also, I saw a few new, recent threads asking about advice for new Gaige players.

Im working on a Begginer Guide for Gaige, as Im writing a Axton one already. Hope it can complement this one, as people still have doubt about synergy and this kind of thing.

You labelled One Two Boom as Terrible and I’m wondering why. At level 60, my deathtrap used it on a mob of enemies and it did 300k damage. It’s useful for skags, bandits, and groups of shielded enemies mixed with strong armored enemies. I’m still on my first level 60+ character, so I’m not sure if it’s a great skill in OP8, but it was exceedingly useful in Normal and TVHM.

Also, it is worth mentioning that anarchy only gets stacks during battle now. There has to be an enemy in the vicinity in order to get a stack for reloading.

The problem with One Two Boom is that it has a long wind up time and then it is random when deathtrap does it and if you are using anarchy it make hitting the orb difficult. By the way, you can still get anarchy stacks from the training dummy at Marcus’s place.

Can you get them from stinging cacti, barrels, and poop piles? Because at least one of those have red health bars…

From piles yes. Barrels Im almost sure that you can either.
Dont know about cactis, thou. Isnt a habit shooting them.

They count as enemies for BAR challenges, so I’m assuming it’s going to be “yes”. If I get a chance, I’ll test it out this weekend.

Ah…very true. I didn’t realize Anarchy could be built up with the training dummy, I’ll definitely have to try that next time. I use a Hyperion SMG, so I’ve never had many issues with hitting the One Two Boom, just with timing lol

If we’re using acronyms and talking about a specific character, generally you can bet it’s from the skill tree.
