I havenāt run into many of the straight trolls, but I have run into very selfish players that drive me up the walls. Such as people taking all 3 large shards in the start of the archive and then buying a legendary and refusing to donate shards. Or people that quickly run and grab all 6 of the large shards in the start of the sentinel activating spawns and getting us completely swarmed. And in many of these cases they keep going after shards just as aggressively after they have all their items, had a advanced voids edge where a player had over 8k shards, 3 legendary activated and never built anything and the wolf died at the gate, because no one had any spare shards to heal it.
The odd thing is that in almost every case the players tend to be above average in performance, they just seem to literally not understand that other people can use shards as well, or that building things is a good idea.

mm they are really poor at the game or are just very greedy yes. Taking all money and not activating chronicle thats kind of just being a dick when you do something like that tho. Also when you pay for the turret to open the one shard cluster and someone else decides to take it.

Iāve had plenty of games where someone has gone idle when we need to activate a group trigger pad of some description. I think the āVote to bootā option could be viable, although that also runs the risk of trollish behaviour. Perhaps the option could become available to kick a player who goes idle, save everyone having to wait another 5mins.
Grinds me worse in PvP though, spend 5-10mins queuing for a game, only to have a player stand idle and/or leave as soon as you get in. Or quit on the character select screen because they wanted to play as [x] character who got picked by someone else.
Yeah, I completely get the frustration. The trouble is, as you say, vote kicks are used for trolling and itās miserable getting kicked off a team for nothing, or because 1 person decided they donāt like you and 2 others just clicked yes for no apparent reason. I think an auto vote that only happens when a player is detected as idle might work.
I donāt think iād want something like that implemented, but in a different game i played they did something different. If you didnāt do āenoughā for a certain amount of time you became eligible for a kick. However As long as you keep up helping if you are āeligible for kickā you wont be kicked as long as you are still benefiting the team an ok amount if that makes sense.
Iād like to note as long as your playing, (not leaching or afking) it was extremely hard to get kicked falsely. I know Iāve seen very few people falsely kicked but it has benefited much much more then it has hurt IMO.
Thats the issue with kick systems though like you say, you cant really put one in without people misusing them someway.
@ryan_harris82 i believe they should have a kick after x seconds or 1 minute or something for that as for the second thing yeah big issue should give them a time out from ques
