Deande's slow movement speed makes no sense (an appeal to the devs)

Well, she’s an assassin character. I don’t think she’s a brawler or skirmisher that is able to engage and keep damage/pressure on a target. She’s supposed to pick off targets by picking optimal positioning and chasing down low-health characters and bursting them down. I’ve played with a great Deande that has no issue bursting people down quickly and efficiently. A skilled Deande is utterly frightening.

If you can get away from a skilled Deande after she engages, then you’re either;
a) Lucky
or
b) Very resourceful.

but that’s just my opinion based only off of the very few skilled Deande players I have had the pleasure of playing with.

I just want better range and hit detection on her basics and burst dash.

Since I rarely get to play on a good connection it’s nigh on impossible to hit with burst dash, it must have the smallest hitbox out.

Often I’ll use it, dash into he target stopping my momentum due to player collision and the attack still won’t register as hitting.

Then I’m left with no shield and I’m cooked.

There is much to be said about these points. However, as mentioned in my previous post, such points are irrelevant, and I do not wish to derail this thread. The facts that I have pointed out about the circumstance lead me to explain why “Deande’s slow speed makes no sense.” My main goal in creating the OP was to point those out for the community and for the devs.
