Dear devs, can you PLEASE program NPC’s to never enter the vault room ! 🙏

I mean this with All sincerity and if it was just once in a while I wouldn’t even bother , because I love the franchise. However often enough an npc will start to Enter the vault room and stop in the doorway either blocking me in or out, Sometimes but rarer my pet will do the same but I can at least lead it out. Even if they Manage to make it in without blocking the doorway they well post up next to the vault and say the same incessant things over and over while I’m going through my inventory which anybody who plays this game with any bit of seriousness will tell you you spend a lot of time there. Again I love the game but I actually think this could improve it, just program them to never enter the vault room.

The easiest would be to let me close the door and then I can keep them out .

Now this is a most logical request, not much else to say. I get that you can Fast Travel to the New-U, but what if I want get a shiny out of mah bank??

Yeah, I took a while but it finally came to me the other day that I can just re travel to sanctuary when that happens lol. Still, you shouldn’t have too and when your playing with people that’s not alway easy, and with any loot on the ground idk what happens to it

They will usually wander off if you get far enough away from them in case they are blocking the door. But yea, this also gets annoying if you’re trying to play the science machine with captions on. Removing npc collision would be a start maybe.

They should just globally disable collision on friendly npcs. As well as tone down the rate of dialogue repetition.

Better yet, leave collision on but also turn on friendly fire. Allow us to melee and ragdoll NPCs, all the collision animations, but not kill them. At least onboard Sanctuary.

That way we can clear our own paths. And also knock them silly to shut them up.

Was confused at first, didn’t realise you were referring to the VH’s room/s.
Agreed entirely. In fact, I’d be okay with them all staying seated or standing in one spot always.

Yeah, the OP meant Bank. Not sure of it was a google translate quirk or simple misnomer.

Omg I would love to put a bullet in Pippie’s head.

I would slap them silly with a 120% psychostabber

I came here looking for this. @renfried didn’t disappoint. I’ve tried the backburner, but it won’t work. I can kill escort NPCs and other players, but not those who truly deserve it.

Die Pippie Die!

I always call it my vault , like a bank vault. Didn’t occurred to me that that might be confusing because of vault hunters , but yeah bank is what I meant [quote=“Isthiswill, post:9, topic:4544526, full:true”]

The confusing part is that there are actual Vaults in the game, so players are conditioned to refer to those Archways as Vaults.

As for the Bank, it’s been called a Bank in-game since Moxxi’s Underdome Riot.

This new bank is a combination of the traditional bank and the ( Cl4p-TP’s) Loot Stash. Definitely an upgrade all around.

If Christian Bale and Harrison Ford had a baby, it would be @indianajune1 :white_check_mark:

Lol, I’ll take that. Thanks.

It took me a solid 5 minutes and a Google search to realize you meant the Vault Hunter’s Room and not something I had no knowledge of. Y’all fools had me REAL confused for a hot minute.

Eh, it happens. You bring up a VERY good point though. Admittedly, I rarely go into my room these days, but most NPCs shouldn’t have collision (or they should at least lose it after a second of running into them) in my opinion. It just screws things up for the player more often then not.
