Desires For Borderlands 3
Playing as Gaige again I just wish I had more grenade slots, like guns slots. Swaping between a Quasar, Storm Front and Chain Lightning would be amazing. Or swap between that shield stripper and a Transfusion as Zer0.
Equipping multiple grenade types simulatneously for adaptation OTF isn’t a bad idea, although it becomes a bit complicated. As all controls are relatively taken up, I propose this – all D-pad buttons/slots can accept guns, but only one (at a time) can accept a secondary grenade mod in place of a gun. This allows equipping up to two grenade mods at a time for an enhanced playstyle (or two radically different ones) without needing to stop/requip during combat. And if they have separate ammo reserves (despite being the same type), running out of one swaps over to the other one automatically

NON-SERIOUS IDEA: If Claptrap is an NPC, he gets Minions; if he’s playable, he gets a Minion skin:

You could just make the d pad work for the grenades by holding down the button used for tossing grenades and it brings up the icons for quick nade switching…tap to toss and hold too swap via d pad.

This. Or just press “x” buttom and the D-pad swap your grenades instead of guns. Not to hard to do, I guess

TBH, I think these rather original options might be slower than my suggestion – especially during intense combat, which was why I suggested a 2-type alternative. Hitting the D-pad would instantly swap grenade types and require only one finger; hold>tap>hold, on the other hand, would require two fingers as well as take time for the game to register the grenade button being held/released.

The fairly redundant “cycle weapon” button could easily be used for the second grenade.

If they bring back jump-jetting and Slamming, Sliding might be useful. Basically it’s the entire process used in TPS, but requires mid-air jetting (holding your movement stick and pressing Jump/Boost) and pressing Crouch/Slam; if mid-air jetting was not used, it results in a simple Slam.

For matchmaking, maybe give the host the option to set a level shield; this would be set when creating the session, but can be altered/toggled at any time during the session. On paper, this would allow players that fall within [insert number] levels above/below the host to join, but prevent others that fall outside; this would also extend to the friends list of any player(s) in the session and prevent someone with a drastically higher-leveled character from bypassing the level lockout through a friend already in the session. Players that are in the session, but hit the lockout’s level bar would not be affected/removed.

The aim of the level shield is not only to prevent drastic level-spiking by randoms, but also to reduce the likelihood that the party’s damage I/O shifts drastically, resulting in at least one-or-more players getting sidelined because the enemies are too strong and forcing the rest to shoulder it.

Idea: a “multiple vault hunter”. One of the choices for players could be a pair of twins, or a small/large pair like redbelly or midgets/goliaths. The action skill would be to separate them and have the small one run around as a “pet” like deathtrap with a copy of your gun.

A midget vault hunter.
And replayable Krieg.

@Scootalewis Like Ferra/Tor from “Mortal Kombat X”? Or Soundwave from “Transformers” (G1)?

@xmngr Midget Krieg? Or combine your suggestion with Scootalewis’s and get this kind of madness:

Not a midget K. A midget “class” and a replayable Krieg, separatedly.

And yes, I have seen midgetceptions a couple of times xD

Alrighty, case closed, tho I will say this – a midget Krieg on a rant would be pretty hilarious if you give him just enough helium for a slight pitch change, but not so much that he goes chipmunk.

My suggestion for any future character that uses a gadget/item action skill would be to have a separate tree strictly for that gadget/item- and to also keep the ability to end the deployment of said gadget/item early if so desired…

I remember drawing this thing up awhile back. Good to hear I’m not the only one behind this.

 1. That one doctor.

 2. You can have a different type of vehichle than your friend like in BL1. I mean seriously.

 3. Please no more Janey Springs type of characters.

 4. Not ALL of the weapons from a certain manufacture have a certain trait. Like, let there be some weapons that are Dahl and dont have burst fire.

 5. A raid boss that is 2 raid bosses.

 6. Rain Grenades.

 7. Do what you think you should do with the story.

 8. Loot system like in BL1. Where enemies drop what they use.

 9. All manufactures make all weapon types.

 10. A new manufacture.

 11. Eridians. We need to see them.

1- Zed or Lector?
2- you already have the Bandit technical and the original 2 man roadster- what else are you looking for?
3- gay- or openly gay?
4- then what separates that manufacturer from the others- and why would you use their brand?
5- you can get two in the Wam Bam Island dlc- Son of Crawmerex and a chance to spawn Vermivorius
6- do you mean they have a spread radius like the Hail?
7- OK
8- you’ll win a lot of fans with this
9- I agree
10- or bring back an old one- Atlas? S&S Munitions?
11- ah- TPS gave you a quick glimpse at the end (can only say that from watching Youtube clips- haven’t played it as of yet)…
12- don’t take all of these responses totally seriously- I know I don’t…

 1. Ted

 2. Like how in BL1 you could have a racer while your friend had a Lance vehicle, but in BL2 you had to have a bandit technical if your friend already had one.

 3. It just seems like in TPS she says somthing about her sexuality every other time, like we might forget in that time span. I have nothing against them though.

 4. Like the BL1 explosive rain grenade, where you throw it, it bounces straight up in the air, and then explodes and rains down balls of fire.

 5. I think that was just an Eridian when you look at the facts.

So get rid of moxxi and Ellie?

Why?

They also talk about sex all the time

Moxxie, yes- but Ellie? Really doesn’t spring to mind. Now she considers herself to be a large hunk of good looking woman but AFAIK Ellie has never mentioned her sexual inclination, let alone talk about sex (except for mentioning that Scooter might have a crush on her). Moxxie, on the other hand, is definitely bisexual…
