Well, Helltooth could be explained as “spam WoD and bears/cloud all the time”, so criticizing Jade for the same reason and letting HT off the hook isn’t the most sensible thing imo.
Which seems to be a running gag right now. Getting the right bracers is almost more important than the right set.
Gear dependency in general is huge in D3 and I doubt that’s going to change ever.

Also got all 4 crusader sets assembled (my poor poor matts, I gotta farm like no tomorrow now TT), so I can tackle those Set Dungeons. Only completed the basic Akkhans and Rolands trials so far.

I started a Hardcore Crusader, I’ve only played with him for about 2 hours, but he is definitely a great character, very fun to play.
Got my resistance issues sorted out a bit by switching the chest gems to diamonds, as I am defiantly not lacking for damage. Also had to start using iron skin for TX. So much dancing around when the difficulty gets that high aaaaaa. Also forgot to switch one of my old passives around lol. Been referencing a rather nice guide for this build.
My crusader went to level 66 in SC before i died. And Maltheal humbled my ass last night. Turns out i cannot take his ass at t8 (WD) with his 40 billion hp. if anyone wants to toss me some helltooth boots/hand, that’d be great.
got an almost complete jade harvester i gave up on completing. i set converted the hand piece to boots, and then…back to hand, and back to boots. Bc fckin RNG. and now that i’ve tossed my arachyr gear, its throwing me visages like no tomorrow. BLARG!
Just picked up the Xbox One version a few days ago, after having played PC, and beaten the 360 versions. Starting with a Crusader on Hard. At level 40, about 3/4 of the way done with Act 2.
crusader killed maltheal on hard at level 49. idr when i killed diablo with WD, i stopped playing for a long time. before RoS for sure.
My Monk on 360 killed Diablo at level 36, but that’s because I skipped all of Act 3 by joining a friend. That was a bit stressful until I picked skills based on invincibility xD
holy hell, just pulled hand and feet helltooth from kadala(completed set) and set converted a jade harvester hand to the shoulder.(missing head) hot damn.
HC is a lot of fun. If you push your limits you’ll have some butt clenching moments during your adventure.
Maltheal’s swirling cloud of death is no joke in T8+.
now that i have a complete helltooth, i ripped him a new one. in like 30 seconds…

now to find a mara’s kaleidoscope. set dungeon is kicking my ass with the don’t get poisoned. EVERYTHING is poison…
EDIT: COUNTESS JULIA CAMEO!!! That makes 3, with my xephirian amulet and talisman of aranoch. Now to just get that damn mara and star of azkaranth.
Two more crusader set dungeons to master. I need a few pieces of gear to do those two. Damage and wrath management sucks with what I have for Rolands and the Hammerdin set. Akkhans and Involkers I was able to do fine. I wants dat smexy master pennant!

Need a few items to up that thorns damage though. That ■■■■■■ ammy/ring set ain’t ■■■■■■ anymore, and I need it xD. Also need to cube an Iron Heart and find a mega rare crusader shield.

Think I may switch from a Bola Shot build to a Rapid Fire build, as I get so many crits anyway with Bolas it seems stupid not to use RF.
I thought it was too. But apparently it wasn’t.
I have mastered all 4 Crusader set dungeons, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! The one that took me the longest was Roland’s. The map on that one is just huge and it can be easy to miss some monsters
