I beg to differ, she can become a semi tank by level 5. Damage reduction true srike and shield boost make her outlast the whole melee class almost. Combine attack spped and you golden

Why even bother with tank when H5 Mutator Sweep strike with H3 Mutator +150% to true strike damage does 500+ damage just from true strike?
And this adds 2 hit to the 4 hit counter so all you have to do is True strike True strike Attack Attack and you can benefit from the +150% bonus again. It only takes about 2 seconds for a full chain that deals 700 damage at level 5.
i would venture to say that i play phoebe very well above average. i do very well with her, but in order for me to do really well i have to essentially be outleveling the other team, and have all my gear activated. really phoebe has a slow field and her primary attack. that is literally all she has to complete her role as an assassin. her ult is meh, she is the squishiest assassin to top it off. rath, for instance, has a knockup, an instant hit silence, and arguably the best ult in the game for 1v1 situations. and galilea⌠dont get me started on her. she outperforms every class in the game in pretty much every category

itâs really annoying how you have to run back to base after every single encounter. Until level 5, then you donât have to go back to base from just fighting a pack of minions lol⌠wtf

I agree early on you have to run back quite frequently, but after you unlock the speed and slow phase gate and start getting gear, she is a wrecking machine. Iâll post a pick soon, but I had a meltdown match of me going 19 and 1 with her.
She is my 2nd favorite character to play as.
Every character has their peak performance level some is early some is late. I play marquis all the timeiff I donât catch levels I donât get kills, and my ultimate is all messed up if something stands beside me or behind me it detonates in front of me.

Not really⌠rath does everything she does, but way better. Her survivability is garbage, and her damage doesnât even remotely compare to raths because if you chain your combos right theyâre just going to die and canât get away.
But with phoebe to be good you have to get to level 5 AND get her gear⌠so youâre playing with a wet noodle until you manage to craft her into something more suitable but even as an assassin she doesnât do what assassins should do.
Her skills all have a really great chance to miss, and her teleport 8 times out of 10 wonât go where it says youâll go. Iâm constantly trying to use it on the fly and it says itâll teleport me to the ledge but then sometimes I just teleport a foot instead, because thatâs what I want to do when Im in trouble, teleport where Iâm practically already standing.
I often times go with the silence btw, as I donât really notice the speed boost and you slow them down anyway.
Probably a new damage bug, but I keep dying constantly to damage that doesnât even equate to my health. I have 300 shield, 1327 health, and just died to 1150 damage dealt.
So some of you making dumb excuses please tell me what Iâm âdoing wrongâ
I get all the important upgrades like every intelligent phoebe does, and I use attack speed (legendary that stacks more attack speed), damage and skill damage.
Then I tried health regen with damage resist, damage resist with healing, and shield/max health that stacks tooâŚ
its actually level 6 and 7 before she is even worth playing. at level 6 you can actually use your teleport both offensively and to get away. at level 7 you can win most 1v1âs with any melee, other than rathâs ult, and basically galilea doing nothing but popping desecrate and noob stunning you. and even this is only if you have great gear with phoebe. then you look at someone like orendi who has incredible lane clear, incredible alt, great escape⌠i could go on and on

she definitely needs a significant buff in one of three areas: either a major survivability buff, a major dmg buff, or a complete reworking of blade rush. it is literally quite possibly the worst skill in the game. it needs to perhaps just silence on contact, as well as either a buff to her hp and shield, or a base dmg buff of her primary attack. and her ult needs to be looked at. look at rathâs ult. they are comparable characters. one can kill anyone in the game in seconds, while phoebeâs tickles you
Well itâs no wonder I never see anyone play as her. I think Iâm done using this character until something is done.
I just walked up behind a kleeseâŚA KLEESE and dropped my ult and he didnât even know I was there and I just died. Managed to blow up some of his rifts and a speed tower but I did literally nothing to him.
Gonna just play rath who is the exact same class but is one thousand times better. At least rath can stop people from running, and does good damage.
Fighting Kleese next to his energy rifts and an accelerator with a melee character is not a good idea. Even dropping your ult wouldnât save you from a poor choice of battlefield like that.

yeah how dare I run up behind an unsuspecting player and drop an AoE field and die almost instantly when he doesnât even know Im there. lol, do you read your posts before you post them or nah?
Honestly it sounds like you are encountering some bug that makes Phoebe take increased damage while dealing no damage. I have played her exclusively since the hotfix which shouldnât have affected her in any way and I have been doing really well with her, almost always top kills on my team.
I dont know if she got a nerf but man is she BEAST! By far my favorite attacker and im a dual sword wielding love in all games. But something about dancing around my opponents is fun as hell and rewarding

I take it that you dont true strike then? By far i have the most success with Phoboe chasing down enemies and getting the kill. Slow effect to phase gate is by far the best assassin move imo
