honestly i am rly pisssed about this thing
dlc 1 is the hyperion dlc, yet i dont have a single one of these hyperion storm moments where they swarm you, JUST BOTS, no humans, no other ■■■■, just bots
then there comes dlc 4 which is the master of all asset flips and is 1/3rd hyperion, but offers more PURE hyperion parts then dlc 1 which is the hyperion dlc
and none of them have a hyperion style raidboss or stack boss or something… even though it would have made so much sense to do that
this is the thing where a circle or a trial would be good, pure themed encounters between me and a certain enemy type
hyperion trial, bots only with a drop rush like that one mission in bl2 where you repair the teleporter, or when you try to save roland
a dlc 2 monster themed snow horror thing where all kinds of beasts attack you
dlc 3 could have a circle… i think?
and dlc 4 HONESTLY should just have had arms race with the whole psycho thing, it would have made SO MUCH SENSE
the aproach of bl2 dlc was new mid game content to play through + a bit of endgame content with 1-2 raidbosses, and hidden evolveble bosses and a whole shop dedicated to endgame with the seraph rarity
vs
bl3 aproach has ONLY the mid game to play through content

The point about paying things is to own a copy (license of, etc) for a thing. It doesn’t mean that nobody else will ever have that thing ever, and that it won’t also be shared on social media or the like. It’s up to you to judge value for money, but “they put it on YouTube” is not the gotcha you think it is.
It would have made the hate for Ava less prevalent than what it was/is though. That scene being finished and the trigger of Troy and Tyreen killing Maya before we exit the Vault instead of after would’ve fixed the early portions of the story IMO.
Anyone know how to access the Director’s Cut content? I have the Season Pass 2 installed, so once April 8 hit, it’ll suddenly become available? Or a patch will launch, or something?
I found it interesting. Almost nobody ever called her by name, so Lilith used it to warn her of the gravity of the situation. Not too shabby of a choice, in my opinion.
And that would have worked so much better than what they released. Unfortunately, the damage may be to deep to fix now.
Edit: the problem though is a few of the scenes in game would either have to be removed or edited for this to fix of make sense. (Tannis pointing out that troy killed Maya not Lilith.)
Yeah, but it wouldn’t just be that scene. IMHO they would have to change or remove some of Ava’s more bratty lines “like when am I going to be a siren”. which I’m sure she says after Carnivora.
I will admit this cut scene is an improvement from what was released. However, unless GBX says otherwise I won’t consider it or the funeral scene that is coming with DLC 6 canon.
