Disappointed to say the least

Did you confirm that you GR is turned back on and that you selected the appropriate scaling option for the Takedown before heading in?

Why would I turn on True Takedown Mode and run with no Guardian Points when the difficulty is ridiculous as it is? Now my shield goes… Boom boom boom boom boom boom when I’m hit and takes all my life down. I’ve even tried switching shields and it’s still the same crap.

After the update the default is GR set to OFF. If you didn’t explicitly go in and turn them back on again, you’ll be running without those boosts.

And for the Takedown, I’m just asking if you made sure you had the appropriate mode selected - scale to number of players, instead of the ā€˜Traditional’ fixed 4-player scaling.

If you have indeed got GR back on and scaling to number of players, then it sounds like something is bugged in your game. What levels are the enemies displaying?

They are trying to help you. What you are describing isn’t normal and isn’t what most others are experiencing. Part of fixing a problem is diagnosing it. I suggest being appreciative someone is going through so much effort to help.

As for not being able to give you an straight answer, it’s hard when you seem to experience a problem that noone else has. Noone here is trying to troll you, they all want to help.

By far I’m not the only one complaining about the difficulty. As it seems to change every time I die. Even the drops change when I die, from some drops to no drops at all. And how can I die by falling off a ledge of there is supposed to be no falling damage? Something I feel they should have fixed over 7 years ago.

You were using Zane on M4 on takedown a little while ago. Have you tried him recently/after the patch?

No. I have not used Zane today. I finally managed to get a good run through with Moze on Takedown. No drops until the last mechs with Wotan. This game is inconsistent at best. I will try with Zane now.

So it’s not broken for you, you just find it really inconsistent? Is that correct?

Still really curious about your exact moze build. Can we see all your gear and your skill tree?

Did the game reset or something? Now I can take down Orbs with just a shock weapon? Or is it just this run through? Still, Iron Bear hardly does any damage.

Back to the same stuff in Takedown now. Can’t even take down a Heavy Pyrotech’s shield with the Terminal Polyaimourous. I have the same build and same other weapons. What the hell is going on? Why is this game so inconsistent?

Did you switch the fire mode to Shock?
