Still as ill-informed as ever.
Do You mean we donât know or we should know and not ask?
Uninformed might have been a better term
As itâs a leak I would even stick with ill-informed. Could just as easily be bs and hold no truth at all. In fact the more I hear from the âkill Ava with fireâ side of things the more I can imagine that some people would go that far as to spread false leaks just to piss people off.
Would be kinda hilarious.
Anyway I just hope that the gameplay that gets delivered is actually worth doing and somehow mixes up the formula. When I hear the term âDirectorâs Cutâ I usually think about anything from small refinements to the overall experience up to massive overhaul of the whole project. I donât expect the latter, but the former could bring some interesting ideas into the franchise. Not just missions, but maybe overhauls and additions to BL3âs gameplay.
Source?
Steam, as always.
So, DLC is not available yet, but achievements are public? StrangeâŚ
Iâve been using Steam for 8 years and donât remember something like this.
Anyway, thanks for sharing⌠
Holy â â â â , I knew they would add a âraid bossâ for that locked door on pandora, and there it is, Iâm betting everything that Hemovorous will be the boss on that door (and honestly, a pretty â â â â â â move from GBX if it is true, since that arena was there since launch)
This is actually quite common, although usually console trophies are leaked more often. SteamDB makes many things possible, like seeing into source code changes that havenât been officially implemented yet. That way we found out about the Commander Lilith DLC of BL2 (or rather the fact that there was some sort of content for BL2 in the works) months in advance.
Btw.: itâs nice to see the word âInvincibleâ again. We have not even close to enough of them in BL3.
Smoke and mirrors. Avaâs podcast is the real raid boss.
Kinda sh*t if they are adding Hemovorous as part of a paid DLC if you ask me (Iâve already paid for it, but thatâs beside the point). The arena is base game and has been there since launch and was also shown off in promo videos pre-launch and previous titles had raid bosses as part of base game for no additional charge.
Really hoping the raid boss is a free update alongside the Directorâs Cut launch. GBX is going to piss off a lot of people if itâs not (not that they havenât already).
So Ava is going to do something similar to what the calypsos did in the main game?
Players will finally get a raid boss that theyâve been asking for?
And we will be smashing even more eridium piles?
I canât really say this will pull me back to the game. Hopefully, the raid boss will be what others have been asking for.
I have a nagging suspicion these eridium piles are different from the ones we already know, and they may be are introducing new currency here. Wonât be surprised if you use it to access raid boss(es) too.
Seems counterproductive to me. Introducing a new currency for a raid boss, when many players complain that they have all this eridium and nothing to spend it on. Maybe the piles will be visually different.
I just donât see the appeal of a podcast. When Tyreen and Troy did their streaming, it gets really annoying very quickly. If Ava ends up doing something similar I donât see many people warming up to her.
Just my opinion, though.
Remember seraph crystals in BL2, so precedent sort of exists?
Of course, these new mysterious piles could be just new giant eridium piles that give MORE crystals.
Perhaps raid boss is expensive in terms of eridiumâŚ
True, true.
If this is the only* raid boss theyâre adding, itâs hardly worth the effort.
This game should have had many more raid bosses than BL2 from the beginning. There should (have been) a peak type map. And much more end-game content.
Too little, far, far too late.
Nothing in this second season pass contains any significant or meaningful content.
/perhaps theyâll get on with fixing the bugs, and returning removed features.
Who am I kiddingâŚ
Get ready for Season Pass 3.
Why?
They obviously went in a different direction for lategame content (see: Trials). Content you donât like is still content. You canât just pretend it doesnât exist.
I donât see why people are so overly positive about Borderlands 2âs raid bosses. Most of them sucked gameplay-wise, were extremely repetitive and/or boring to kill and underdeveloped.
Terramorphous was pretty boring (and also had a cheat rock comparable to Crawmeraxâs ledge), Vermivorous was a cool endgame secret but, beyond that, a pain in the as* to fight. Master Gee and Dexiduous are crimes against game design. The Dragons are ok but can get unslaggable if you slag them in the air (which is unintended). Voracidous was balanced around a frigginâ single youtuber used as a playtester. Pete is a snorefest.
Iâd rather have less raid bosses, but have them be a compelling fight.
