I guess I just didn’t look closely enough at Zer0gawa to realize the suit wasn’t just similar, but identical (fingers, etc).
However.
If you say that that is the design of the suit so anyone wearing it is going to look identical from the outside, couldn’t Zer0 still be a bipedal, conveniently-close-to-human-size-and-shape, alien inside the suit?
It’s possible but the only aliens we’ve ever seen are eridian, still they are not exactly human shaped. No other aliens are ever talked about or mentioned.
Fairly certain that Zer0 is in fact not human. The features they were given just don’t add up. They’re the only character in the series that has 4 fingers instead of 5, and their height and head shape are just not quite right. The whole deal behind the mystery is no one’s sure they’re even human.
As for Katagawa, I hate to say it, but that was just lazy recycling of Zer0’s model instead of making a new one. Because it makes literally no sense for Katagawa to have 4 fingers. They didn’t want to make a completely different model for the sake of like, 3 scenes, so they just used Zer0’s.
NOTE: I got no problem with what people think Zer0 is; it’s part of the fun to speculate! I just prefer to look at all the facts when theorizing on what is and isn’t “canon”.
You are saying the only reason for katagawa looking like zero is because gear box was lazy and just reused assets.
Or you know katagawa mentioning stupid zero tech, zero needing his upgrades from maliwan, katagawa fits in the suit which is made from his company for his race of being. All points to zero being human.
To matters worse I hear he was the originally gonna be the big bad which was scraped for being to jack like.
So if that’s true this is not lazy design on there part but deliberate.
I’m willing to be wrong, but it still doesn’t add up. Seriously, explain the fingers?
It was literally just Zer0’s model reskinned. And the only thing “deliberate” I see about that is that it was done to give the player a red herring. There is no in lore reason for the messed up anatomy.
And it’s not like I’m saying the story there was bad. I actually loved that part and Katagawa as a whole.
