I have it pre-ordered for both the PC and the PS4 and plan on playing in the beta on both systems as well before release. I’ll just be getting to play with the people I know of PS4 first I guess.
i’m excited to see toby gameplay. his ult looks incredible, and he looks to be buildable with decent mobility. the arc mine is the best though and distinguishes him as my favourite tank

Woah woah, who said that? PS4 beta starts an entire month before everyone else? Nuh-uh, there’s no way 2K would shoot themselves in the foot like that. It’ll be a few days, tops.
I was under the impression it might be for a week. That was my assumption though, I don’t think they’ve clearly stated how long the beta would be exclusive on the PS4 before hitting the other systems. If they did I either missed it or forgot about it. I’ve been so scatterbrained lately I’m lucky I remember how to breathe.

Bad news guys. They’re having the game at an event on March 5-6. I don’t see a reason for them to bring it to the event during or after the beta so I think we’re going to see at the earliest mid March.

That’s about what I expected. Hey, maybe it’ll start at the end of March so we can have a 3-day weekend to play it (Easter)!
In a different topic I posted that it probably won’t be until mid March being the soonest and early April being the latest. I’m still inclined to think that’s going to be the time window for beta.
I’m not really feeling like BB Beta would delay till April. They need at least a month from the last month of release (which in that time frame they usually doing all the optimization things) to change all the data they will get from the players. So in my opinion, we’ll see the beta early~mid March.
Knowing GBX, they’d want to incorporate April 1st in the beta in some way…
I second this. I saw this in an article from PC Gamer about a week ago and actually made a video about it going over the possibilities for announcement and open beta launch.

That being said, I think the beta date will be announced next week. From a marketing standpoint:
-Announce beta date before pcgamer event so people will see and hear about it from the event with the tagline “and you’ll be able to play it too on…”
-beta should be really soon after the event so it’s fresh in memory so probably March 11th , exclusive on PS til March 18 and lasting til 25th.
-that gives time for people to say wow that sounds fun, I can’t wait to try it next week or two and preorders it if they like it. Keep in mind gbx needs time to make enough copies for the demand the game might make.
I’m okay with that! Earlier the better xD. An announcement next week is definitely possible if we see the beta mid March.
Do you people think they will let us play all of the characters, or have them on a rotation? I do not play much betas to make a guess.
Characters were on rotation during CTT, not sure what their plans are for Beta. At release some characters will be unlocked via story progression and… challenges? I’d have to watch the badass answers videos again.
My guess is that they’ll either make all the characters available for testing/balancing purposes or make it the way it will be at launch. Someone ask them to answer that question in their next Q/A video! 
We had them on rotation but we’re able to unlock some during events.
