Interesting thread. I don’t consider myself to be OC about the game. I’m not sure playing a game you enjoy a lot necessarily equates to OCD
I’ve spent over 2800 hours in BL2 and have no idea if I’ve found all the Vault Symbols. If I grudgingly farm a gun, it’s because my character needs it to help them through the campaign. I have no interest in “collecting” weapons or having them with the best parts. In co-op, the conversation goes: Friend - “There’s a legendary skin over here, Greybeard”; Me - “And I care why?”
BL2 is a great shooter but the thing that really gets the endorphins flowing, for me, is levelling up. I’ll do anything for that next skill point
OT - Nice to see some love for Bioshock 2. For those of us who are FPSers more than RPGers, BS2 was much more fun.
I am incredibly meticulous person, but horribly disorganized.
I’ll give you an example. If I begin reading something interesting, I must THAT VERY NIGHT complete every sub set of what I am reading, or I will not go to sleep.
In the morning, my office looks like a Dodo bird decided to make a nest of books.
I’d love to say that I at least finished this one, but it kept bugging up on me and I couldn’'t find a solution and uninstalled it for the disc space. Did you guys have problems with it at all?
Unless I said it already, I’ll add to my OCD…this however only effects Pre-Sequel lol… kinda weird.
OCD #1- I have to open every ammo chest there is in the beginning area. #2- Those flying buzzards also at the beginning, yeah I have to kill at least one of them to ease my mind. (3 chances!) #3- First playthrough, I have to get nearly all the bonus requirements. I accept the fact, that I might not get all of them…f-cking Moxxi telling me to shoot the blue when there spinning so fast!
I have an obsession with the number 37. That means I try to have it on my equipment as much as possible. Be it mag size, cooldown rate etc… I have found several Legendary Mechromancer COMs with a cooldown rate of 38, but I have always sold those to keep the 37 percent one.
Checking all my saves around 5 times to see if i didn’t lose any items and such, sometimes more often, then checking if the savegames are still present on the HDD.
