Does the Doubletap perk even work?

The perk called Doubletap for Oscar Mike, does it even work? It says it increases your ammo by 15 but mine always says I think 30, both before and after using the perk when reloading to the max.

I’m not sure if I’m right but I believe it actually gives you more Tactical rounds meaning that ALL of your bullets do bonus damage instead of just 15.
