Downloading content hang is an SSD or disk caching byproduct (race condition)?

The first time I host a game after reboot, it works. During this initial hosting data is loaded from my SSD and this takes some time. The second time I host a game everything is cached in memory, so nothing is loaded from disk. This nearly always crashes with the “downloading content” hang. Exiting the game and doing something to purge some of the disk cache seams to help.

When HW2 was initially released we didn’t have 16GB of memory and SSDs. Data was always loaded from disk and this took time. A race condition somewhere? Just a thought.
