Ninja Scroll was one of the very first I ever watched.

YTV (this awesome cartoon tv network when I was young) would show anime every Friday at midnight, as well as stuff like Aeon Flux and Oddities and whatnot, and they played Ninja Scroll a lot.

Saw Evangelion around then too, I think.

Around the same time I saw Akira and the original Ghost in the Shell movie.

I think that was when anime first started really making big waves internationally.

the manga’s usually are. but i hate reading. I know, I’m a walking conundrum. lol I read in here all F’ing Day and I hate to read. go figure. lol

I’ve always had trouble getting into long running animes…I watched the first 50-ish each of Fairy Tail, One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto a few years back.

Agreed. that was rather short lived. I liked finding out what Vegeta wants to do with his wish.

This tease from from the Heroes Livestream (via Odd Blankenship) seems to indicate that Vegeta is going to have a big battle or powerup in the coming rounds of the tournament. Needless to say, fans are already buzzing about whether that means Vegeta will max out his SSB form, or perhaps keep pace with his rival, Goku, by unlocking some new kind of power. We’ve already seen artwork of what Vegeta could look like using Ultra Instinct, and it’s something that many fans are excited to see!

Meanwhile, you see mention in the Odd Blankenship’s breakdown that Goku still has to master his new Ultra Instinct state; Jiren may still have a final form to reveal as well; and the upcoming fusing of Caulifla and Kale will create the first female fusing in Dragon Ball history.

In other words: you better stay tuned!

This is what caught my attention. Sounds F’ing cool. Can you imagine that fusion with the meek one going all Berserker. Maybe providing the blueprint for Kale to become stronger after being a part of that monstrosity?

funny you mentioning Goku’s voice in the Japanese versions. I really can’t stand it. very whiny sounding and high pitched. it’s annoying to hear him. I prefer the English voiced version but I’d have to wait too long for those to get released. So I put up with the ‘nails on chalkboard’ voice so I can feed my unending curiosity of this story arch. I’m riveted on what is going to happen next. The English voiced versions will end up being purchased once they’ve completed the series.
