That might be a connection to BL2, remember Lilith at the final scene?

Okay, good point. Does anybody have a screenshot of the hologram at the end of BL2 we can compare to the Varelsi Portal texture?

Is TFR the only Varelsi signal we can investigate like this? Can we get close enough to screenshot the others to compare their stars?
I have to say, this all goes to support my personal theory that BattleBorn and Borderlands are connected (my theory being that Borderlands is the past events leading up to battleborn)

Toby’s one (and by the looks of it, Heart of Ekkunar) aren’t time sensative.

Oh just to clarify, those larger white stars are actually floating/moving particles
This is an interesting video for those of you who like secrets.

Anyone got any bombs to throw at walls? Seriously, we need to go over every inch of the Operations and just whack, slash, explode and taunt everything until it unlocks something!

So many things seem plausible again. Maybe having the stinger turret (in TFR) kill you really does open a barrier.
If we assume it’s like a kiddie pool with a dragon aka The Eagle dungeon from the legend of Zelda we could unlock a door by leaving a room and coming back into it. Oh that boss is a Dragon btw
Does this sound like Mellka and Kleese in the sentinel? I’ll try to not pester this thread with Zelda egg ideas
(but you need the Power Bracelet in order to push the leftmost rock. Once you open one entrance, all of them will be open. The entrances, lead to a room with the Old Man saying “Take any road you want” and three staircases.)
The original guide helped players find their way in the original Zelda. Kinda like how lore challenges reveal hidden pictures and hints? (8 pieces to the Tri-force, 8 story missions. Maybe we need to collect items similar to the curious “relic” found in ATR )
The gathering area in LoZ is maybe similar to the prologue in that it gives us items that can help us on our adventure but can be skipped. The prologue had a lot of hidden areas yet very few have been found in the main story. Maybe we haven’t been looking in the correct manner.

Also completely possible but this gives me more to think about on the way to work lol
Edit* just figured out Pheonix Protocol is required to hit two of the shards in the Lazer hallway. It’s now confirmed that the first two rows of shards can be broken before breaking the factory shard.

Pheonix Protocol also lets you injure the decoy bosses in the Lazer hallway. I’ll post all the boomsday paths that I know lead to shards later. There is one hole in the engine room that is only available to see some lights, as far as I can tell.

I think I messed up the order so I couldn’t get the second mech to show up. The third was available and when he fell through the ground he jumped up and started taunting me as if it was a failure.

I found that sometimes when the laser hallway Bergs reappear afterwards would cause the boss cutscene to not trigger and but extension making it impossible to complete that run even if you kill the boss because it’s technically still waiting for you to start the fight

What do you think would cause Thadeus to sink though?
Edit*yeah I’ve seen that happen also. Sometimes it fixes itself.

I don’t think Thaddeus is ever inside the Berg, he’s controlling them remotely because he’s that type of villain that does everything from a safe distance AWAY from the action.

But the fake Bergs sink through the ground. After taking enough damage.
Is it a deliberate-looking sinking, or a glitchy sinking?

Plus, he’s too fat to fit in Berg

Your idea made me think of Varnell’s posting over the weekend that people who were running loot boosters would have rings/bracelets around their arms, but I never saw it in game.
Maybe there is an object of power. Maybe the text of ops gear. Maybe ops gear worn in a certain order.
I also saw on the Reddit Varnell mention that the writing on the walls and the Attikus dlc does all tie in, and that even the Attikus dlc hadn’t had it’s secrets uncovered.
