Haven’t tried on UVHM yet, though I did on TVHM. Definitely took a lot more bullets than I was expecting and got put in to FFYL a lot. Good thing he always tossed a few minions 10 feet away from me.

IMO Eclipse isn’t too tough, just long due to large amount of hp and needing to hide ~90% of the time so you don’t lose your shield and go into ffyl within a second. EOS on the other hand… at first was the same deal but it seems he’s rigged to spawn more enemies (good and bad, sure it makes it easier to get out of ffyl but it also means more stuff trying to kill you) and attack more and maybe enhance himself at certain hp percents.
All I know is that after beating him on UVHM I’m gonna curbstomp him on PT1 difficulty as revenge.

Haha yea i might have to do the same thing. He was pretty damn hard on uvhm. Took me about 7 trys or more before I beat him.
I got him on first try on UVHM but I got SUPER lucky with glitches on my pink slapper. soooo many shotgun modes let me take him down quick. I think beam lasers are not going to work well on him bc it seems like it is too difficult to stay in effective range in the big form (eos?). All in all I am glad that this and the new arena are nice challenges. I also love that each arena match is fairly short.

I used a shock maliwan blaster and shock bullpup for the fight. It was pretty effective. But damn it took so long to get his health down. Especially his first form. Its such a great boss fight though. Its awesome we have more bosses to fight and farm now.
This makes me really curious… I thought the first form was extremely easy bc you could LOS dodge him all the time, but I struggled hard on the second form. I wonder which form most people are having more difficulty on now.

The first form wasnt that hard. He just had so much damn health. It took forever to get him down. Second form was crazy

Ah ok, I see. Yeah I agree with that. When people get geared up at 70 I’m sure we will see some wicked strategies. For now I am just going to stick to “RUN, DODGE, SHOOT, REPEAT” (caps to emphasize panic)

Yea same here. I wanna keep farming him. But my gears starting to get outdated. I guess ill just level up to 70 then come back to kill him over and over.
yay for 3rd time farming ideal max level gear… oh well, it’s something to do! lol. Hopefully some of the new gear will turn out to be viable replacements for other things because that could make farming fun again.

The new gear is awesome. I already found about 4 replacements.
I’m going to clear something up seeing as people are saying “lol git gud scrub XD”.
He was actually bugged out for me, as in he wouldn’t stop firing his missile volleys and would just walk around with a storm of orange trails everywhere.
I realized this after saving and quitting and coming back to him, he’s a chump that’s easy to duck and dodge, he just has so much bloody health in both forms that’s he’s a real slog.
I got an omni cannon from beating him and the cheat code for the quest (one one know what is useful about this weapon? seems like a bad bitch/fatale to me?)

Yea i cant figure out out wats special about the cheat code. There’s gotta be something good about it
I got that missile thing on eclipse and I thought it was just a phase he had a chance to go into. weird. I heard somewhere that FFYL damage goes through the roof with the cheat code but I haven’t tested it.
sooo, for some reason minac’s atonement (is that the name?) seems to do really well against eos… has anyone else tried it out? not sure if I was just number drunk from all the bossing or what, but it did just as well, if not better, than any of my other gear (all between 60 and 62 for a fight agains 64 eos).
All I know is EOS seem immune to lasers.
I did not have good gear … as in way too dependent on lasers. Worked on the 1st phase, but not the 2nd phase.
My T4s-R did the most damage to EOS. Made for a long fight against a lvl 63 EOS. Finally just teamed up to get it done.
Eos Is ofter way out of range of beam lasers, I used a shock bullpup to drop him with Wilhelm, but it took ages.
But my Jack using a quad with shock transferred from a snider via company man + AA at 80% made the fight much easier for me.
Fight Eclipse like you would fight Zarpedon. They are the exact same fight.
EOS is not immune to lasers. IF you are using a beam laser you should know that they have a relatively short range and because EOS is flying you might not be aible to hit him from afar. I had no issue taking him on with a maliwan blaster.

Hmmm, I thought I tried a blaster. I’ll have to pay more attention next time(s).
