Embarrassing moments with only yourself to blame

I don’t know about console versions but on pc one can open poop piles with E (use/enter vehicle/pick up key).

You can either melee or “use” them. I prefer melee - it’s an old habit from other games…

In Tundra Express standing looking at an item on the track over near Mount Molehill Mine, where two lines converge. Heard the train and hurriedly backed away - straight into the train which was actually on the line directly behind me.

Alt tabbing during Jack’s title card, forgetting that I was in game, and then coming back a split second before FFYL ends.

omg a mimic just gave me a jump scare. I have never seen the chests in the side path go mimic on me!

Things that annoy you in online play

Ran Hero’s Pass and encountered a BUL Loader…and fired Gaige’s Deliverance (shock) on instinct.

Used a rocket launcher as a Mechromancer… With max possible Anarchy stacks. Blew myself and my buddy’s Zer0 sky high cuz it hit somewhere near my feet

I’m running the peak lately with ninja Zer0, i’m at op4; usually I die against double Scorch (I just can’t handle fire badasses ) but this run I pass that area.
I clean the next area too, except for a surveyor, when it sticks into a wall at the beggining of the next area: I initially despair, I don’t want to start over 'cause of a glitch, then I notice I can hit it with chain lightnings so one after the other it dies (luckly wasn’t a badass one) so I get to the Doc Mercy zone.
Loaders and skags start to spawn, I begin slashing left and right when I notice an Ion loader: unload my kunais on him and he’s going into shield mode so EXECUTE!.. boom baby, too soon! Every other enemy still alive is behind cover :acmaffirmative:
and I’m proud of myself. Also died to double Scorch again on the next run.

I took my Zer0 through Torgue’s DLC for the first time. I finally reached Badassasaurus and just as I had expected, he was quite difficult to kill on account of his crit spots which disappear after enough damage has been done. After spending a lot of time and a buttload of ammo, I managed to bring him down and I was also awarded with a shock Practicable Slow Hand.

Shortly after bringing the beast down, my 360 disconnected itself from the interrnet for some reason. Because the increased drop rate hotfix is only applied when connected to the internet, I decided to reconnect immediately. Unfortunately, reconnecting the 360 means quitting your session and that was a fact that I didn’t consider.

Because I didn’t save before reconnecting, I had to do it all over again and I also lost the Practicable Slow Hand. I’m probably going to stay away from that DLC for a little while.

Uh… No it doesn’t, man. Were you playing solo? Maybe it’s different when playing online co-op, but I’ve lost connection a lot of times while playing solo on the 360 and you can reconnect it just fine without quitting the game. Just hit the guide button, look for your internet connection and reconnect it. Also, I don’t think you lose the hotfix when you’re disconnected during the game. It’s applied at the beginning of the session when you connect to SHiFT and it stays active until you quit the game, even if you lose internet connection during it (but I could be wrong about that).

The only time you’ll kill your session is if you hit the XBox button and sign out. (You can use that trick when quest farming as it means you don’t exit the game fully, just to the startup screen.)

@Eel37 - what level are you? I might have a spare Slowhand I don’t need on one of my toons.

Well, I guess that makes it even more embarrassing then, doesn’t it?

@VaultHunter101 Thanks for the offer, but I haven’t had Gold for four years now. I don’t think I can trade without it.

Went to run Magic Slaughter round 5 with a friend, hadn’t done it in ages and strafed into a spike pit about 5 seconds into the first wave.

Words cannot describe my shame

He had to jump off shortly thereafter so I decided to knock out some more story missions. I was breezing through Bright Lights Flying City, kept the XP loaders from raising the bridge, then backpedaled right over one the barricades around the pillars into the water going for cover.

Mondays, amiright?

Playing near the damn train tracks. We’ve said it time and again to never play near the damn train tracks. Well, I had a brush with TEx by the station near Tina’s – was dancing around shooting guys with Bloodsploder Krieg… and pulled up short, getting Krieg a haircut in the process.

That’s not funny.
RIP

When I was playing as Zer0, I never realized what b0re actuallu did, as I just put a skill point into it because I had one to spare. I thought I was a god when I one-shotted the BNK3R in TVHM…

I went back to my normal playthrough and thought I could’ve killed Terra in one-shot. Lost alotta money that day…
