May be a setting I’ve not found, but it feels strange to not have any typed chat abilities in the match-making lobby or character select.
Also, when the game just ends, feels like there should be a bit more of a group summary time (not suggesting the parading best characters, though would be nice, but a better round summary).
At least in PC, you can chat with all 5 members that the game put together while looking for opponents and in queue.
Also while selecting the BB.
Hmm, I don’t ever see any chat windows. Sometimes I notice chat windows pop up with things once in the game as the round is about to start. But no chats during BB selection or Lobby.
On PC, you can press Y right there and begin talking. I did it quite often. Some people are already using it to ask if anyone will be healing and so on.
I’m confused. When you say ‘Press y to begin talking’, are you suggesting the Mic command (which I believe is T)?
I’m talking about the typed chat window.
Y doesn’t seem do impact anything in the character selection screen. I can only see typed chats during gameplay.
“Y” is the key to bring up the chat box after team has been assembled.
I think I have some type of bug. I don’t see any typing chat window outside of the active match.
During character select, I press Y, type something, and hit enter. I don’t see that stuff until the match initializes. I literally can’t get any chat windows to show up outside of an active match.
Must be a bug, perhaps related to ultrawide monitors? (there’s a few UI related issues I suspect fall to that)
